Oh, don't get me wrong! I don't have a dog in the fight in regards to the topics you mentioned. My main beef is with the dialogue since sarcastic millennial-ese has crept its way into so many of today's games and it's exhausting. The pedantic nitpick I have is that gelatinous cubes are something ripped out of D&D and not a part of any pantheon or ethos God of War touches upon (let alone a cube named "Frank"), which leads me to feel like this game was slapped together and not well thought out.
The hate comes from two angles: hate for sidelining a male protag, and hate for millennial dialogue and anachronistic errors.
Giving them a reason to fully transition to AI or automation? Many of them are BEGGING for a reason to do just that. Need actual threats.

I earned my undergrad and MBA living alone while working 50 hours a week. It's not difficult if you have zero social/familial obligations.
The couple congressmen I knew personally didn't even really work 40-hr weeks or have busywork. Their pay-to-work ratio is bullshit.
