Mommy and Wife here.. I love my family
I work for Amazon and they were huge on DEI and they made it very clear it was all about anyone and everyone having the same opportunity as anyone else, regardless of your sexuality, race, gender, religion, whatever. They did not tolerate hate speech at all and had non gendered bathrooms and even had insurance that paid for transitioning. I am so shocked and disappointed Jeff removed all of it and don’t understand why. It helped people there. I don’t know how this will change working there.
People here don’t care because our taxes are used for things for us and infrastructure. More should be put into schools here and we’re currently fighting that too.
It’s funny how Medicare for all works in Washington state and it all based off income, the richest ppl in the state pay for the poorest people to get healthcare. The poorest people get insurance from free, to paying 1%, 5%, and so on based on their income level up to around $50k where it cuts off. Children have even more protection up to 19 years old. This includes dental.Washington state Is a great place to live. The system should work for everyone, not just the poorest people.
What I don’t like is how no one or anything is trying to stop him..
I think it was Elon, not directly but his influence and propaganda machine is at work. He basically won the election for Trump, now he thinks he can dominate blue states. I think anything horrible that happens while he has his hand in our government is going to be because of him in some way. If California turns red. Could you only imagine the future for elections?

I can’t see numbers in my head. Math is nearly impossible for me to do like that, back in the 90s I was just looked at like I was an idiot. I was starting to get it as long as I could see the math but I was bullied relentlessly and “turn the other cheek” became to much and I ended up making bad choices for a lot of my younger years. I still can’t do math
I have this sneaking suspicion that a lot more normally quiet people are going to radicalize against our system over the next 6 months than ever before in our current generation below 50.
I stopped telling people I take Xanax to control my severe anxiety and insomnia. People recoil like im a drug addict. Even finding a doctor to give it to me took 8 years. I was trying to function without help i almost ended it several times. People don’t get that it’s ok if your happiness and well-being come from a pill. So freaking what

The way god is. I fully believe that he casted out Lucifer because he was the god we were supposed to have, but killed everyone who loved him in the flood and threatened people unless they wrote the Bible the way it was. Satan ruined it all by convincing Eve to eat the apple so we could love the god we wanted, and not the one we were going to be forced to, and gave us knowledge to learn it all but it was too late. Jesus was killed to prevent us from learning the truth.
It’s not. I work for Amazon fulfillment center on the west coast and didn’t even know this was a thing until today. No one at my site is going to participate in it. We are currently doing 60 hour mandatory work weeks to fill customer demand. Amazon would spend billions to prevent unionizing if they had to. It’ll never happen.
During the feed on cnn, they kept saying “we’re waiting on the voter data drives (or disks or whatever.). Nearly every battle ground state reported a delay in getting these jump drives delivered on time. One interview they showed some men emptying bags of these out. Unmarked everything random looking dudes that may have been Russian for all we know. Then boom it takes them 10 mins to count it all.
Oh hey thanks for the tip. That free taco sure did make up paying $65 to feed 4 people! You’re so smart.

I can see his reasoning behind this though. Our food sucks, there is some type of sugar in everything we eat. If he wants give us better regulations or something then I’m all for it. Our entire relationship with food needs to be improved. Over half the population is obese or dying from heart related issues or diabetes.
We had the cops show up twice after we bought our house looking for someone that used to live here. I guess they came back a second time to see if we were lying. That made us uneasy for a while

I’m afraid of losing our house. We live in a small city north of Seattle and inflation here has been killing us with no end in sight. We bought in 2019 and lived very comfortably and now we have to save and budget nearly every penny. The extra food pantry I bought has been empty for a year. We are “okay” for now but if inflation doesn’t stop we will not be okay. We have been teetering in the line of being house broke for the past year. I’m so scared of losing everything.
That’s the Republican Party my dad voted for. It’s not the same as today. I don’t even think he would have voted for Trump.
You think the rest of the world is going to be okay with that?
I don’t think it’s going to be as bad as we think. I think there are still a lot of good republicans in office that will fight him if he goes too extreme. It’s the only thing I’m hanging on to
Bezos isn’t the ceo of amazon anymore and hasn’t been for years. He’s a stock holder. Canceling prime and not ordering will only hurt the people who work for Amazon. We don’t need anymore people losing their jobs to this shit

Washington state elected a new dem governor after Inslee held the spot for 12 years and retired. I was happy to hear that.
I live in a small city about an hour and a half north of Seattle. Blue collar town, lots of immigrants, farms, and such. A cheese burger meal is $9 here, cheeseburger. Their Big Mac is $10. McDonald’s isn’t the only place completely sucking the money out of our pockets either. Taco Bell is even worse. All because people live here and commute to Seattle to work. The rest of us get to suffer and not have a meal out anymore. Screw McDonald’s. We haven’t gone out to eat in over a year now.
Some documentary I watched said that many years ago before trump got into politics, Russia pretty much scooped him up and got him out of debt and they basically own him now. It’s going to be very bad if he’s re elected. He didn’t have a chance to really hurt us last time, but this time he’s got it setup where we may lose everything.
The lady whose husband was killed at a Trump rally said that her now murdered husband would want her to keep supporting Trump and she didn’t hold any contempt that Trump made no effort to call her, or apologize or offer support. These people are absolutely insane and in a giant cult, they are so brainwashed Trump could come into their house and strangle their children and they would fall to his feet and kiss them.
