Its like I enjoyed wwf as a kid early 2000, stopped believing in the show, got to grow up and struggle with becoming an adult hold on tight, then all the sudden adult life and government and holy hell im watching the wwf all over again and I know it's all gibberish

It's not impossible to believe if you're form the South like me. The people who voted for him are white, racist, and mean. They think loving America means hating minorities and loving war. And when Biden ousted him, his worshippers despised it and wanted revenge. In the end, the one word that got him into office is "racism."

How dare you insult old hot dog skin like that.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What I don’t like is how no one or anything is trying to stop him..

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I believe that the worst truth is that he is just your typical rich dude who got rich from the effort of others. We just think he is particularly terrible because of how public a figure he is.

There's a lot of others like him dictating how we live.

2 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 3

You're not wrong. But they're not being particularly terrible AS president. I agree, rich fuck-nuts are out there like him and they dictate how we live, true. And he is typical as a Rich who takes wealth from Poors. True too. But it IS particularly terrible, HE IS particularly terrible because of how he inspires TO BE the public figure that he is. As President. A person we should hold to exceptional standards. The worst truth, imo, is the atrocious falling standard Trump represents in voters.

I don't think we've seen another figure successfully pull this many people into the alternate reality he's living in.

Donald Trump is, in fact, the pink slime of humanity.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not accidental. Trump the politician strategically appeals to the worst in our nature. He created a personal of evil dumbness.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And yet a plurality of Americans wanted him.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Because they're ignorant dumb fucks.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

The dumber fucks are those that didn't vote at all.

Dear USA, you're country is screwed, love from the rest of the world. P.S. Your country is screwed.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think Trump is a true Randian hero. Which is more of a condemnation of Ayn Rand's Objectivist philosophy than a credit to Trump.

Im sorry but that is an insult to an old hotdog skin

“I’m mad at you for not fixing my life, so I’m gonna stab myself! That’ll show you!”- Every asshole that voted for Trump

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

... and pretended to shoot it - twice.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

WHY didn't he end after this?? In europe he would have been dead in politics 2 hours after it!

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Same here in Australia.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Twice a week he was doing things that would have made anyone with decency quietly close up their campaign and retreat into the woods forever. Still doing them now but it's considered normal.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i know trump voters who grumble "garbage in, garbage out" about how someone like trump gains political power. like bro you told me you voted for him and now you gripe about the lamentable state of things because of him? you're one of the anti-experts, what are you talking about. george carlin wouldn't think you're clever, grandpa.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He likely means it doesn’t matter anyway so pick the guy who is more entertaining. If democrats had a reality TV candidate I think democrats would have seriously fared better in the suburbs.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

one of them said they voted for trump because they couldn't understand what harris was talking about. but then, they also couldn't tell me what trump was talking about from incoherent speech to incoherent speech. when pressed on this, they were like "well, if gas prices go down, i'll be proven right." some of these people can hold otherwise intelligent conversations, but are just selectively, deliberately smooth-brained about certain things. decades of propaganda exposure probably didn't help.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One thing I learned from the pandemic is America is a me me me culture. If gas prices lower for them then that’s all that really matters. Everyone else be damned.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

willful ignorance, self-reinforcing brainwashing, and the promise of gloating at someone who gets crushed before you, are going into setting up some of these 10-ton dominoes i'm sure. voting against your own self-interests seems a frustratingly dumb way to promoting your own… self-interests. imo. "lol i skimmed atlas shrugged decades ago and now mostly read picture books about war" fits a disturbingly high number of profiles of people i've been regretfully roped into political talks with.

As someone who is not American but has been exposed to "Americana" and it's ugly face around the world I can't help but feel that this is exactly who and what is America. "Ugly American" is a term the rest of the world knows all too well and this is what it looks like. Of course there are some exceptions, but since the US is a liberal democratic country it would seem he represents the will and vision of the majority of Americans, that is 50% plus 1 of votes.

2 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 3

He did not receive the votes of 51% of America and he won by a thin margin. My gripe is with the people who who voted third party and worse yet those who didn’t bother to vote.
I’m willing to bet there are people in your country that are as evil, idiotic, and obnoxious as he is.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's a stereotype. It does apply to a large swath of the American public, but there's plenty more that aren't like this. It's just the scum ugly deplorables are very loud... and they're backed by a complicit far-right media machine.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I mean, as of the last election, he represented about 34% of Americans wo can vote, Kamala representing about 32%. A lot of people... well they didn't vote at all. Then there's all the people who can't vote, many felons, children, and undocumented folk that are still major parts of our communities.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I get your point. It's similar to what often occurs here in Canada and the provinces. Mr Trudeau hung on for 3 parliaments and at no time did he even come close to 50% of the vote. I suppose another way would be to look at how the seats or voting blocks are allocated across the country.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The liberal Americans who aren’t this way and who get along with the rest of the world isolate themselves in large liberal cities making their voting power weaker.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I'm sure the motivation for Melania is obvious but there is not enough money in the world that would force me to tolerate being around this whiney, racist, unknowable POS shit human.

the corporations continued to fund the GOP even immediately after the Jan 6 Terrorist Attack. the few corporations that stopped funding GOP only lasted a short time. what we all see is 100% done/created by US and Foreign corporations. Corporations have given over $100 million to the Sedition Caucus https://www.citizensforethics.org/reports-investigations/crew-reports/corporations-have-given-over-100-million-to-the-sedition-caucus/

I don't know what's worse, that 1/3 of the country voted for this shitgibbon or that a large percentage of voters couldn't even be arsed to show up

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

and then democratically won the electoral college and popular vote; you need to make some adjustments if we keep thinking he is the only problem

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

He is the RESULT of the problems

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Half the world is laughing at America and the other half is terrified of it.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

We in America used to laugh a lot at Trump. Even in this last election... the crap moments he had on stage at his rallies... so laughable. No way he could be voted in.

Well, it happened. And we're not only terrified, we're mad as hell. Disinformation won the day. AGAIN. This cannot stand. And now? Zuckerberg has demolished any moderation, so lies can flow like wine. It's insidious. Something needs to be done about it. Republicans won't. They love the chaos.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Been that way for a long time. Decades. Before trump.

I could live the rest of my life in peace and comfort if I could go without hearing about him or the Kardashians EVERY FUCKING DAY

2 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 3

Please give the Kardashians double time. Triple even. I am so not ready for 4 more years of "what the fuck"

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I actually don't hear about the Kardashians much anymore. I think people are finally getting bored of them

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I heard they complained about the water shortage in California during the fires. Then a follow up that during the drought a few years ago they both used hundreds of gallons over the limits set by water authority and paid enormous fines. Despicable.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah. I'm trying to avoid him as much as possible. We're committed. I sounded as much warning as I could, I'm pretty much done talking about it, but sometimes it slips out. I've committed to just calling him "the felon." After the 20th I may refer to him as the Felon in Chief or FIC.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And we voted him into the highest office in the world. Where he can do the most damage.

I still can't grok this. My brain still doubles back thinking either that I missed something and it isn't real, or that my country is filled with some of the cruelest, meanest, most ignorant people. I *have* done my homework; I have some clue as to the reasoning of fearful or false entitled people.

And yet, this is still unfathomable and almost impossible to reconcile. Only one thing to do: RESIST.

2 years ago | Likes 109 Dislikes 2

Highest office in the world? Nah.
In the US? Sure. But not the world. There’s more people outside the US than in it…

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm still stunned.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We deserve it. We value celebrities and reality TV stars over scientists and artists. This is our culture now. It’s so gross…

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It hurts seeing our country doing this. On so many levels.

Every time I visit my mom, I’m still greeted by her two large TRUMP/VANCE signs in her front yard. 😔

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who's this "we"? I didn't vote for this scum! Don't put me and the voters who voted Democrat with the idiots who actually believed he was going to lower prices and the slackers who could bother to do the bare minimum and get off their fat asses to go vote!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

To be honest, I’m a little shocked that I dislike Trump

If 20 years ago, in middle of the W Bush years you told me that there would be a TV star that sleeps with porn stars, golfs every weekend no matter what, has no filter when he speaks, is not part of the political establishment, and will create a Space Force branch of the Military

Oh man, oh man, I would be so excited about voting for this guy

And yet… here we are. Instead of fixing DC, he is making the swamp worse

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

The US has a fair amount of cruel, mean and ignorant people. But worse than that? We have a fair percentage that just don't care.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Twice

Disinformation tsunami.

That's what did it. Some say it wouldn't matter if that report came out before the election, because people had already made up their minds based on lies they'd chosen to believe. But I think it would've made a difference.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I’ve concluded he made a deal with Satan. No other legit reason for this train wreck.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

He totally sold his soul to the Devil. A long time ago. The way he lives and acts, he should have died from a heart attack, homeless or in jail, alone a long time ago.

Yet he still lives amongst us, wealthy, escaping punishment by a hair every time, and has half the country hanging on his every non sequitur word.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Russia, so, close enough

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Absolutely! I remember watching the protests and dissenters in American streets when he first took office. I remember those protests starting to fizzle out but the embers never went cold. I knew much less of Trump then so didn't fully understand those who resisted, to use your words. Knowing what I think I know now about Trump and his followers then yes, you should continue to show your dissent but you must also persevere. Good luck.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

It's not that he got voted in, it's just that shitcrusts decided to sit it out and decided it is not worth their effort to vote.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

There is a pretty high chance of Russia tipping it, but yeah, too many people stayed home, assuming -those- numbers are correct.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Those same people will then blame anyone but Trump and his freaks for their troubles. 'Well maybe Biden should lowered the price of eggs if he and Kamala wanted my vote!'

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

"Kamala and Biden don't have a good policy about Israel! I'm not voting for them!" ...you really think Trump is gonna have a better stance on this? Fucking idiots

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

2 inches to the right... just two measly inches and the whole 'movement' would have taken a serious hit. I don't think Vance or anyone else could have matched the same... energy.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

seen any ear scar??

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The martyr movement and backlash might have been even worse.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Perhaps it would have. It might have only been worse for Americans. Perhaps in the resulting chaos and confusion domestically, you guys would have been too busy self immolating to keep fucking around with Canada.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Canada's got its own problems with bigotry. They even have fans of the Felon.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's true. Recent polling has that number in the very low teens. Even fewer people like Trump than those who like Trudeau. Canada prefers its bigots to have nice hair and a touch of Laurentian accent.
