They are so prevalent now they are back to being lame. Every shitty high school baseball team looks like this guy.

I've recently been pondering the idea that even with my receding hairline, I could still grow a mullet. I haven't shaved my head now for a month and a bit, and I'm considering just letting it go.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I unironically love that mullets have come back.

Rusty Shackleford's dad is a wrangler in the gay rodeo.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Ummmm…there won’t be any new Toby Keith music.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s a joke that they are stuck in the past. Kmart doesn’t exist anymore either

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The second I saw the kid in the yellow shirt and sunglasses I was like "yea that's the one"

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

One day I too will ish to rip off my t-shirt to reveal another, smaller, t-shirt under the first t-shirt.

Maybe spice things up with a long sleeved shirt under the t-shirt under the t-shirt.

"Hell yeah, Brother!"

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I want to get a mullet, but my hair is way too long, and I don't wanna cut it.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I want to get a mullet, but I don't have hair on top anymore. Can't rock the skullet.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My brother has a skullet. He can surprisingly pull it off.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The beauty part is that if you tire of the mullet, guess what? You're like four snips away from a boss rat tail!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With a mullet you can have both!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love the PA farm show! Tractor square dancing, sheep to shawl competition and giant butter sculptures the size of real cows! That's entertainment!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Business in the front, party in the back.

WTF PA

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I grew up in PA and moved to Texas for a while and everyone in Texas teased me for being from the North and called me a Yank and I was like "Lmao if you only knew the level of redneck I grew up around, it would put all of you to shame"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pennsyltucky.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yup, I grew up too in PA and moved to NH, PA has way more red neck going for it!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just hang out by the dollar tree with a six pack of Sam Adams and he'll show up eventually.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

This is so American like I can feel the essence of a different culture. I don’t know why I like America since I was a 12 yo, and wanted to visit so much but never had a chance.

2 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 3

I unfortunately live 10 minutes away from this wackado crap. But at least they had fun?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’m American and I hope you can come visit some day. There are many interesting places to see and things to do here. And despite what you hear on Imgur sometimes, it’s not all completely terrible here. Haha! Many people are very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the worst of us are also the loudest.

2 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

It’s not American, but it so totally is… It’s performative self-parody. The contestants are performing. Look at the crowd. They’re laughing, not really judging… not even internally.

With some exceptions, part of American culture is to celebrate and mock American culture. We’re the greatest God-blessed country in the world, all we touch is black gold, and so on… we go big.

This show isn’t about having the best mullet. It’s about having a show about having the best mullet. That’s truly American.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

There are so many different parts of America to visit! As an American myself, I can say this aspect of 'our' culture is so foreign to me, it might as well be another country. I could probably spend years on a roadtrip in the US and still miss half the cultures represented within its borders.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Australia has it's own mullet championship (Mulletfest)

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's not "American". It's redneck, a subspecies of American. It's like seeing a Flamingo and saying "that's so bird!"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's such a huge place. Any regions you are particularly interested in visiting? There is still time before the apocalypse.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We got a whole variety of culture here. Loads of food and drinks too, that is always popular. I like the natural resources, like parks. We have some amazing federal and state parks in every state. I have enjoyed the ones out west the most. I want to go feral in Zion. I went there on a school trip that was poorly planned and almost froze. I had a great time!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

skip the mullet competitions and find a small-town rodeo.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Please don't let the anti American imgurians cloud your own judgement. This country is wonderful.

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 6

It was wonderful then they turned it into strip malls and concrete as far as the eyes can see

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

This is a map of the National Parks. There are also over 10,000 state parks across all 50 states, many of which are free to the public.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Now imagine the whole thing being one big state park

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

We're the 3rd largest country in the world. There's a lot of great places, and a few really horrible places.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Just like anything with people, it's complex. I think you can say "America has let capitalism run rampant, destroying healthcare and education, and causing so many to struggle" and at the same time also believe that America is full of diverse and wonderful people, from our California surfers to our Texas ranchers, from our Wisconsin cheeseheads to our Florida Man. Humanity is beautiful, and I think despite our many, many problems, America and Americans are beautiful.

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

The biggest issue I think regarding America is that it's extremely hard to tell how people in any location are going to react to a specific thing.

You can make some basic assumptions that generally hold true, like many people along the bible belt being less accepting and more hateful towards things unlike themselves. But you can also find extremely welcoming and progressive communities within that area and horrible racism and bigotry in areas that otherwise skew progressive.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I dunno. I don't think I'd say that's the biggest issue. But, I think your point stands that the US is not a homogenous monoculture, and I'd add that all attempts to make it so are incredibly un-American.
