The stupid thing about this whole thing isn't that data centers are inherently bad. The real problem is that they are building them the cheapest easiest way possible without consideration for environmental issues. At this day and age all of these data centers can be built ethically, and environmentally friendly. The rich fucks building them just don't have to give a fuck, and build them how they want because they're allowed to.

Here is my logic. The rich in this country have over 50% of the wealth in this country. They have around 95% of the political power in this country with their ownership of politicians. Their companies are using a huge percent of the infrastructure of the country. Their employees are using the majority of social programs like Medicare and food stamps (that we all pay for in taxes). It looks like if they are using the majority of this coubtries resources, they should be paying for them.
