FP edit: Please send me your favorite meme.

I just commented this on another post about the wildfires - I'm in Northern VA. Stepped out of my apartment this morning and the air just smelled...chemically? Like chlorine or bleach almost. I first thought building maintenance had cleaned the breezeways.

Wasn't until I got out front I realized everything had this weird yellow haze.

They're so desperate to get to heaven they're willing to turn the earth into hell...

These are the same people who NEED a God to tell them not to rape and kill.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Funny how most of those people are going to hell if their sky papa is actually real too.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because here, they would have to contribute, and that's not how their greed works.

I should be able to achieve paradise by simply going to church every single sunday because that makes me a good person! /s

I find it astounding that Americans think all christians think this way. Im not particularly religious but i was raised in a christian home and we dont think like that at all we helped people out within our means all the time.

Italy had fascism, Germany had national socialism, the US has christian nationalism and Israel has zionism. All of them are fucking nazi cunts that are so hateful their entire way of thinking, blaming and playing the victim needs to be eradicated.

Their "everyone" doesn't include the rest of us.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Religion teaches the working class that they must die before they can get what the wealthy have while alive.

2 weeks ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Well said. I never thought about it that way.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And our earth is OUR place, we have evolved in this unique soup for eons, yet morons who long for paradise don’t believe in recycling or measures to care for our companions on this heating world (anyway too late, I guess)

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They want to take, but not give. Here on Earth, we have to give to the community so the community can give back. But they just want to take. In Heaven, there is no giving, only taking. That's why it's their paradise.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So those particular Christians are Republicans?
Democracy is for all Americans.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wasn't there also something about, whatever you hold true on earth, God will hold true in heaven ?

2 weeks ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

So basically, when they go to hell, their punishment will be having to share it with people who hate them, and want to watch them suffer for eternity- if not torment them themselves?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hm. I was raised in Christian churches and never heard that one.

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

"Father God, who art in heaven. Verily I say unto you, blackjack and hookers. Amen"

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I feel like... They are okay with the idea of Heaven because they also believe everybody they personally don't agree with will go to Hell. Their idea of utopia isn't necessarily a place without suffering, it's a place where the undesirable people are firmly excluded. You'll notice their primary argument against socialism isn't that we cannot afford it, rather, that some "undeserving" people might get in.

All about control

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The best part is that their vision of it isn't in their book either.

2 weeks ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 0

Neither is the Rapture, but that doesn't stop them from trying to bring on the end times

2 weeks ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

Doesn't it say something like "only a minister in idaho will know the time" in the Bible? No?

2 weeks ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

“But the wisdom shall only be passed unto this man when you give him 10% of your earnings for life”

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's in the "God Bless the U.S.A." version.

2 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

If everyone got to experience heaven, then it just wouldn't be fair! They worked real hard to be angry bigots, attacking anyone who didn't follow their stringent, twisted, hate-filled ideology. If other people get to be happy, then what was the point? (/s?)

The old Sky Cake dodge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55h1FO8V_3w

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Real talk though. I grew up in those kinds of churches. They are 10000x more excited for watching bad things happen to people they don't like (thousand years of torment) than literal heaven. Heaven is a footnote to them compared to watching the suffering of others. They're just fucked up people

1 week ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That's it actually. They believe we were all born dirty and broken, and we don't deserve comfort unless we serve our penance and beg for forgiveness. It's why the most blissful destination they can dream of - Heaven - is just...the state of being content.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The problem is that on earth everyone includes people who are Muslim, trans, atheist, poor, have committed crimes, vote Democrat etc

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because they think only they deserve that.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's because christians are stupid

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure they view heaven as a place where they personally have power over everything. I think the fear of socialism is a manifestation of the fear of lack of power.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Is the date of this tweet, that they are paying for the privilege of posting, from before or after the owner of twitter did multiple nazi salutes on national television and repeatedly equated socialism to terrorism?

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

if heaven is so great then why arent christians more eager to get there?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because if they accepted this was possible on earth, they would have nothing to live for.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

According to the death cult, our time on Earth is supposed to be a test of our character - it's not supposed to be a perfect or rewarding experience, or else how would we show that we can righteously overcome hardship while maintaining our unwavering loyalty to the invisible narcissist that made us to worship him.
It's supposed to be a sign of the antichrist to try to bring about Heaven on Earth - to deny the faithful their chance to be tempered by god's tests. >

> This made some amount of sense a long time ago when faith was one of the only thing that you could cling to as half of your siblings died before you knew them and famine made you compromise morals in ways that no one was even comfortable about recording. You almost HAD to believe that it was an impossible dream to fix it all, and thus must be the devil trying to fool men.
In today's society? As we find ourselves able to fight scarcity itself? Absolute nonsense.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Humans are very hierarchical by nature (One of the main qualities that makes a species able to be domesticated.) and that has been exploited and tuned to a fine degree. Higher up the the ladder you go, the better you believe you are. Religion and politics has cemented that in our collective psyche. As Einstein said: "The real purpose of socialism is precisely to overcome and advance beyond the predatory phase of human development."

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Christians are inherently stupid

2 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Implied in the heaven fantasy is that everyone's eternal bliss doesn't come at anyone else's cost of effort, where in the real world that exists we all have to contribute in order to make a society that provides for its citizens needs. Conservatives can't stomach giving a little of what they have to ensure that their neighbors can live comfortably alongside them.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We could have it here on Earth while we're all still alive, instead capitalism, religion, and politics.

2 weeks ago | Likes 209 Dislikes 4

We are more capable than ever to have this. Look at the original Pokemon Anime. Ash Ketchum, a ten year old, wandering around the world. Services are affordable. Crime is so low that he never faces any threat on a daily basis, minus Team Rocket. Pollution is next to 0. Litter and trash is non-existent. We could have this!! Instead, we have billionaires and capitalism.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The socio-political system within the pokemon universe results in a world where a 10 year old can wander around without fear of being kidnapped, or starving to death, or getting so lost they die.

We have the resources to end world hunger, clean up the oceans, clean up the dirtiest polluting countries, etc... Aaaand we don't.

Blaming any of those is like blaming the hammer for cracking somebody's skull. They are tools. It's the PEOPLE who are the problem.

The problem is that Christians believe not everyone deserves to live with peace and joy, and try to keep the country shitty so people need church for that dream of better. Christians #1 goal is gatekeeping peace and joy unless you fill the tithing plate

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but they think in heaven they'll only have to share with people who are like them.

2 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Ironically, thats also true of earth.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No— no, socialism is only for those who win "earth" and prove their hard working loyalty to the sky deity that allowed his nemesis to torment his creation without any evidence of his existence or help or connection except blind faith that you'll be rewarded unimaginable treasures after your death... Sounds legit right?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, we could just work together and share. If Russia or US invested all that effort, money, people and weapons into their own countries?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's literally enough labor and resources for every single person to live a comfortable happy life AND still have rich assholes. EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE WORLD. It's about their weird control kink not about lack of resources

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

those three are more or less the same. Tools to create social elitism.

2 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Because it's not supposed to exist here. You need the bad times to get Jeebus to come back. After Jeebus comes back then it's the good times here.

You're skipping parts of the story.

2 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 5

So, why do we need the bad times? I heard God is all-loving; why would He drop us in a world - that he made - and expect us to suffer for decades on end?

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Go read the bible if you want to know what's in it.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Tried it once, long, long ago. Couldn't really get into it. It had weird stories, like "God smites two cities because locals got horny for visitors, despite one of their own offering to pimp out his daughters," and "Those same daughters jumped dad's bones because he was salty about losing his wife." And there's always fan-favorite "God kills ten innocent children to prove to Satan that their father would NEVER lose faith in Him."

How much more do you think I should read?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Why should you ever educate yourself? Right? Better to be ignorant of everything and just look like a moron to everyone.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

P.S. This is after having to go through the REALLY implausible creation story, although I should probably at least touch on "God, who knows everything that will ever happen, makes a rule He know is going to be broken, but punishes the humans for breaking it anyway."

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Jeebus is probably in an Ice Concentrate camp right now..

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

First the crucifixion, now this. Guy really can’t catch a break.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If ICE saw Jesus on the street they would drop him right on the spot and the orange doctor would praise them for stopping the commie invasion.

2 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the part where their omnipotent, omniscient god specifically designed the universe to ensure that he would need to rape a child to take human form in order to sacrifice himself to himself, creating a loophole in rules he set up knowing this would happen, which would let him save us from the punishment he will happily visit upon us for being the way he made us.

And all of this is so that he can come back from the made-up to create the paradise he could have just made from the start.

2 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Child rape is a part of their traditions.....

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

It seems to be one of gods favorite things, judging by how frequently it happens in the bible.

It's right up there with slavery.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Can you be raped by something that can't interact with you physically? And if you can be raped by something that can't interact with you physically how do you know?

For all you know you could have a bajillion ghost dicks in your mouth right now.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

"How do you know?"? I think the pregnancy might be a clue!

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you're dumb enough to take it as literal truth, yes.

I have some oceanfront property in Colorado you'd absolutely love.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Do you mean to tell me, then, that God did not literally impregnate a betrothed, teenage girl with His divine progeny?

Because either He did, or He didn't. In one case, he committed rape, as Mary was not made aware of the conception until after the fact.. In the other, Jesus of Nazareth was not of divine nature.

Which is it?

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

if it can make you pregnant it can rape you

2 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Really. And how exactly does something without a physical body impregnate someone?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

That is how the fairytale goes?! I did not make it up, others did.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The bible makes it very clear that god is able to interact with people physically.

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

It's almost like the bible says a lot of dumb shit. Why are you taking it as literal truth?

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

If you're just going to ignore what the bible says and make up your own little version of Christianity, you aren't worth having the conversation with.
