#7 I don't get it, why is the lumber carrier head in hands like that?
ShadaxSR
Coming down off the shock, he realizes just how 'girly' his scream was, and is in a tempest of "Oh my God", "He got me good", and "I'm never going to live that down", for which the normal response is head in hands and somewhere on the laughing to sobbing spectrum.

#18 any actual architects or civil engineers here? This looks frankly impossible to build from a live loads perspective. Plus, pretty much the entire base and shaft (heh) would have to be a ring of giant cargo elevators. That would leave almost nowhere for the loads to go.

#48 I'm not a scientists and high school is 30 years in the past. Does this have something to do with the half life? Someone smarter than me, please explain this.

You're right. Uranium has a very long halftime and it decays to lead. So by measuring the amount of lead that's found in what would otherwise be pure uranium ore, you can tell the age of the earth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Earth

#9 not sure thats what they meant by horsecock but here we are...
BlueSheep
If it can help you in the bottom it say « for anger and laziness are the lures of softness » now it all make sense about the horse
Clayman8
Ok yes but what about the crabbit? Cause i still got questions here
BlueSheep
I… I was joking but now I think it start to make sense, the Crabbit are the peasants and the horse guy the knights turned softy because of lazyness and anger
Clayman8
That... could be a possibility funny enough since rabbit and seafood WOULD have been staple meals for the peasantry in that time.
BlueSheep
And what's best to show what would happen to someone that can't read... It turn you into a Crabbit ! Same kind of little lies parents tell "Don't make that weird face or your face will be stuck like that forever". I think we cracked the painting !

#41 we call it MPH or members per hour. The goal is 50. While we can no longer fully turn of the till (that would take 3 minutes to cycle) cashiers often log off the till began orders. This way while they set up large items in the cart or wait for you to find your membership card, that time doesn't count. Some solo cashiers even scan everything, sign out after you pay, then load the cart.
This slows the line but makes MPH look better, which is all management cares about
WaxDragon
This is also why you see "prescanners" popping up. They're a cashier who COULD get a line open, but then their MPH would be added to the pool. Instead they float the lines to give a 5 or so mph boost to a couple cashiers. This increases the average for the metric. However in practical terms it's worse because about 15 or 20 more members get out in that hour, where if they opened a line it would be closer to 40.
I hate metrics when used as goals.
