cat treats, pretty much a gogurt for cats, pureed meat slush. Mine love them but with 3 cats its a straight up battle whenever I do bust one out.

Had a couple of my best friends pass, and was/am friends with the widows. Find a widows group in your area, it helped them immensely to start. Its a rough time for everyone, and it doesnt stop with just the death. Some people want to bring everyone into a tight little family, some people just want to grieve alone. Only wrong way to go about it is substance abuse and/or ignoring yourself. Its not easy, or quick, and when you are laughing/crying at the same time over a stupid thing, normal.
