Was I wrong to think Imgur was the one place I could come and not see a human die in gif form?

Vance fucked that coffin

Vance NOT holding up his end, as usual.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WTF US flag is on half staff for a civilian ?

11 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Well, we did it for a school teacher murdered by a religious right-wing extremist here. In the US they celebrate the worst of shitstains instead.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why the fuck are they having such a hard time carrying it? His head wasn't THAT big.

11 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

JD is standing in the front and not moving fast enough and making it harder for them to walk because they have to walk his pace. This whole fucking thing is a giant joke. Charlie was NEVER in the military. JD and tRump couldnt even bother to pick up a fucking phone when 2 democratic lawmakers got murder in their own homes.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The fuck is my tax dollars going to transport that pedophile supporter's corpse?

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Its insane, but not surprising, how much they are hyping this up

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Kirk really was #2 through and through. Just flush him down and be done with it.

11 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 5

#1 this administration continuing to be the worst kind of fucking joke: the kind that isn't funny

11 months ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 5

But hey, at least we got to vote for a black woman. And that MUST be better than keeping Trump out of office.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 15

Pure fascist right there , he never served at all. VANCE looks like a fool. Trump still a pig

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love that you can physically see he was there just for show with 3 on one side struggling to hold it vs the 4 on the other side

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why in the holy hell is he getting military / government handling!? He was a private citizen!

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

hopefully nobody left Vance alone with the corpse

11 months ago | Likes 207 Dislikes 7

Or the coffin

They are signaling to everyone that they will honor their sycophants

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He’s not carrying that casket, the 6 uniformed men are. He’s just making it awkward

11 months ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

His specialty!

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It looks like he's actively making it heavier lol

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 The wanker couldn't even be bothered to help carry the weight, just slapping his grimy dickbeater on top instead.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Pure performance grief.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

stolen valor

11 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

what?

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...you can't be fucking serious.

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

#1 how could they not find 6 service members who are the same height? And why are they carrying the casket with both hands? This looks award as f.

ofc. the 4 obvious only-here-for-the-photo-op-suits are not helping to make this look dignified... But I am glad to see the Republicans at least be consistent. They will exploit anyone's murder, not just school children.

11 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Had to find short people to carry the casket to make Vance look bigger. google says Vance is 6'2" but also says trump is 6'3" I think they had to find smaller guys to make him look taller.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good point. I had not considered that the current administration is a.k.a. The Fragile Egos Club

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bitch's last word was VIOLENCE. That is, if you don't count, "Glblbgblbglbglbg..."

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

How the FUCK does he have a honor guard? He was never in the fucking military. Hey Veterans who voted for tRump, tell me how does this make you feel? Also look at fucking JD... performative bullshit and hes making it awkward and harder for them to move. This whole thing is so fucking stupid. I hate this fucking dumb country.

Very weird

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The comedic timing of answering the question like that before getting shot.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Hasn't Utah suffered enough without Junior Dumbass making things worse.

11 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

He actually really fits in there. Utah is a cesspool.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Charlie Kirk never served in any branch of the US Military or served in any public office, he does not deserve an honor guard.

11 months ago | Likes 617 Dislikes 7

Or the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

11 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That is 100% at the president's discretion... I am actually surprised he hasn't given one to David Duke.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But he helped trump win the election.

11 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

U mean helped steal the election

11 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, that was mainly Musk rigging all those machines, Trump said so himself.

11 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Nope, Charlie Kirk was the biggest right wing political organizer in at least 50 years. He was responsible for shifting so many young ppl to register and vote right, drastically interesting turn out and support amongst non traditional right voting demographics. His absence, if not replaced, is huge loss politically for on the ground political mobilization for the right wing.

11 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

well said. this is all showboating. literally trying to create some substance for outrage where there should be literally none. we all know what will happen. his followers will suck the Kool-Aid straight from his wrinkled teat, and the rest of us will stand by in disgust, wondering what on earth will it finally take for them to break out of the cult mindfuck brainwash situation that they find themselves in.

11 months ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 1

They won’t break out. What he’s giving them is what they’ve craved for years, they’re hooked like meth addicts. They’ll jump whoever is trying to cut their supply.

11 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nothing. They are in an unfalsifiable position... there is no evidence you could present to them that would make them question their ideology... Even in Nebraska and Arkansas, seeing the complete annihilation of their farms due to trump's policies, they would still vote, overwhelmingly, for it to happen to them again.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The term "unreasonable" becomes truly terrifying when you finally understand that these people are beyond the reach of reason. They cannot be reasoned with, there is no compromise, no level of understanding, nothing. They are living LLMs, spewing whatever they think will get you to do and say what they want without any care for truth, empathy, or the humanity of those they take from.

This is where violence can become the only answer, because force becomes the only common ground that remains.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah, I see. I didn't listen with the sound on and didn't know it was a clip of the shooting. Personally I had never heard of Kirk before the shooting.

11 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Thanks for the explanation.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Absolutely disgusting. We need to step back from the political violence ledge, but Charlie Kirk was a piece of human filth. All of the things he has said about women, the LGBTQ+ community, minorities, immigrants, and any other marginalized groups need to be posted publicly nonstop. The general public needs to be reminded about who this man being celebrated by Republicans was.

11 months ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 7

As much as I agree, sadly the ‘general public’ or at least a huge chunk of it, totally agrees with the filth he spouted, even hails him as a hero for having the ‘courage’ to say it

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

11 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Step back? Why? Are you afraid we might actually ACOMPLISH something instead of just SAYING we want change?

11 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

Violence begets more violence. It invites reprisals and further escalations and retributions. The end goal is to stop the killing, stop the dying. We cannot kill our way out of a fractured political society.
The mechanisms by which you accomplish change matter. If political violence is in your repertoire of instruments of change, then your results will be bloody and either short-lived or it will be prejudicial in the long-run.

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

Prove your way works brings systemic change better than the other. History hasn’t been very cut and dry

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I don't know that I've outlined a doctrine or a "way", but I believe, I think correctly, that political violence is poison to civil society.
They've made a martyr out of this death-worshipping provocateur, his death has calcified right-wing belief. Assassination of a private citizen isn't the answer to complex political division. To be clear, assassination of a public person isn't either. For example: The US assassinated Yamamoto during WWII, and it is unclear whether that had material effect.

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All power, political and non political is derived from the supreme power; force. Force is violence, democracy doesnt stand because we are nice people who respect votes; it stands because up until now we've always had people willing to kill to protect it and have done so on numerous occasions. Without violence the slaves would have remained slaves, without violence america would have remained a colony, without violence the civil rights movement would have continued to be ignored. Violence may 1/

11 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Not solve everything, but it solves a lot of things and those it doesnt solve outright it softens people's positions a whole hell of alot. 2

11 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

The 1st part of your comment outlines the civil war as just. And I agree that very rarely war can be just and achieve progressive results. But I am hard pressed to think of a historical case when an assassination directly begat a progressive result. And I don't know that I agree that violence softens dispositions. Violence either removes the political opponent (death/displaced) or hardens them. Would you be softened if Greta Thunberg or Robert Reich were assassinated during a speech?

11 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Because it's going to turn very quickly into mass violence and retaliation after retaliation. Yes, Republicans started this and have been both inciting and committing violence for years. But having the tables turned MIGHT finally get some of them to realize we don't want to go down this path.

11 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 8

Well if you wanted this to be resolved peacefully, THEN YOU SHOULD'VE KEPT BIDEN ON THE FUCKING TICKET! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry it won't just be school children being murdered now, and that some of the people who get killed might ACTUALLY deserve it. Go fuck yourself with a rusty bayonett you fascist enabling coward.

11 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

You are describing a civil war. That works sometimes.
