You think this is just a 4 year rehab. Oh no, wr are going to spend the next 40 years fixing this mess... The damage to our international relationships is bad, but the damage to the American idea of what American values are is way worse. 70 million people voted for him. That willingness to put hate over justice is a huge problem.
Good. This sort of corruption only works where no one of power is willing stand against it. It destroys the publics faith in the whole government and system of government. It gets normalized to the point that the expectation is corruption is the only way to get your due. This means the second and third generation will not even feel guilty about it. Keeping a system corruption free is hard, but keeping that corruption a forbidden fruit, that gets eaten from time to time, is easy.
Um... people are people or should we be talking about the native population and your so called schools? No nationality or ethnicity is universally good...
I hope they dont. String this along until after the mid term, then cut the power. Dont give him an easy excuse to declare an emergency and try to cancel the election.

So very much truth there. The stuff breaking is normal, it's how you can respond to it. Bad part is getting too good, you fix something that would have been catastrophic before it blows up, and no one notices.
Ya this is the part i hope is not getting lost. Big chunks of the world do not have the recall issues... because they dont do them, and if a few people die, meh profits over peasants is the order of the day. The FDA is NOT perfect, but some bits of it are still trying to do the job correctly.

There is... and your seeing it at work. There are issues in the real world, no matter how rigorous the process is, there is still going to be things that slip out. The recall being issued is the right move, and we are better off with a system that can deal with those when they happen. Much better than if the powers that be are so fragile they cant admit any issues happen.

It can be done... but it was not pleasant, and took doubling my income while halving my expenses over 4 years, 10k at 22 to 24 % depending on the card. My nickel squeezing almost got me divorced... but we got it paid down.
Nothing saying you could not use a wood seat with the right paint or stain it could still look like old copper.
For that, and the goth girl friend I will find a way.
