In fairness to the USA, this already exists in a lot of other countries like England, France, Germany, etc. It's not a USA thing, it's a global thing.
Is anyone else frustrated that none of the clips show both sides of a ridge? They keep cutting off just before going all the way over and it's driving me nuts!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, iPhone's bland unicolor icons set logo design back a century (not that logos were bad a century ago, but that it will take a century to get back to where we were)
Of course it's spelled correctly, you just pronounce it like Yosemite Sam says it and write down how it sounds.

I would argue that the autism merely draws a line in a different place. Everyone has that line, where everything on this side gets (over) communicated, and everything on that side is assumed that everyone knows. Autism just has different assumptions. (Source: wife is autistic)
And only connect to it from a "quiet" computer - everything turned off, so nothing making queries. Never log in to any account except the one you're keeping hidden. Ideally, whitelist requests, so *only* requests to known domains go through.

You definitely can, plenty of people have died from Diarrheal diseases, something like 1.2 million a year.

Having worked for a place with low pay and a ping pong table, and a place with good pay and no ping pong table, I prefer the latter. Yes, even when it's stressful.

It depends on the location. There are places where you have to dig holes as deep as the house/building to anchor it, because there is no bedrock at all, it's just clay. Sometimes you can make do with an extra thick slab, but stone and brick are heavy, and you run the risk of your house sinking. Some locations simply can't use stone, or just accept the fact that it will need repairs/leveling every few years.
Have you ever heard of ground heave? Wood flexes when bricks and cement crack. You'd need to dig half a house underground to support a cement deck n since places. Europe loves to poke fun at American construction, as if the whole world has bedrock two feet down.
It sounds like you are the one who doesn't know what you're doing... A lot of contractors use linear feet. When I bought drywall, I had to order square feet, not number of sheets. A lot of systems are set to odd measurements, and that guy was used to a specific standard. Tony knew the conversion, you didn't.
That graphic isn't quite right. Canada, and I'm sure many other countries, also use a mix of units, depending on when they switched. Legally everything may be in SI units, but a decent chunk of the population still use "the old way".
That's not true! Sometimes they are bought out by people who want to look smart and are ruined without being sold off! (Yes, Twitter, but also Will.i.am's purchase of Wink, and I'm sure countless other examples)
You could say that about anything though. "Cooking should not be a way to show love, every adult should know how to cook." It's not that the person I love doesn't have to do that thing, but that me doing a thing is how I communicate my love. "Acts of service" is right up there with gift-giving, physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation.
