I live in Phoenix, the Chase Field is a home game for the Dodgers. The majority of Dodgers fans are great. They are a passionate crowd, I have sat on the visitor side and never felt any ill will from them.
Japan has gun control, this happened 9 years ago. The UK is reporting 4% increase in 2024 over previous years of knife homicides. That's a factor of about 3.85 compared to US gun homicide rates. I am for responsible for gun ownership, training, etc in the US. If the US takes away firearms knife crime and homicides will go up and we will see larger mass casualty incidents because how quiet and quickly someone with a knife can move through a large group of people.
I am more nervous about a mass stabbing than a mass shooting event.The Sagamihara stabbings were committed on 26 July 2016 in Midori Ward, Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan. Nineteen people were killed and twenty-six others were injured, thirteen severely, at a care home for disabled people.
It's a suggestion in AZ.
