Fortunately for me, at least with my doctor in the US, I get 3 prescriptions sent electronically to the pharmacy. They just don't get automatically refilled when they are due, and I cannot refill them until the 29th day after they were last picked up. I can call and get a temporary prescription if my next appointment falls after my last prescription run out. Sadly, this may not be the norm throughout the country.
The only reason I can remember to refill them is those fucking old people pill organizer things. I had one day where I forgot if I took my meds and accidentally took my meds twice, and let me tell you, I felt like fighting God that day. If I had had any caffeine I would have. After that, pill organizer. If today is empty, I must have taken it. If there's nothing tomorrow, i might need a refill.
I have found that certain... Recreational gummies, also provide that reset.
Don't forget you can't refill your meds until the day before you run out, like sure dude, I'm sure I won't forget.
Disney mermaid or Cabin in the Woods mermaid?
It is when mixed in a glass or cup. I'll just drink the chocolate milk from the container. She can't do it. Just an odd mental block of some sort.
My wife would hate this. She can't eat things that are pretending to be something else in her mind. For example: how do you get the last bit of chocolate syrup from the container?Pour milk in it and shake it up. Nope. She just can't drink it knowing that's how it was made. I still love her though.
You've posted selfies before previously, but I think this is the first I've seen with a genuine, non-obligated smile. Keep being this genuine you.
Zombie Strippers. Yes, a real movie with Mr. Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund.
500 characters is just not enough for ally thoughts, so expect a DM later. But in the instance of the service, what is a "Commune" and how do you expect orgs to utilize 5+ of them?
The ADHD banishment ritual. You have a thing. You place or drop the thing. As soon as you lose sight of it, it no longer exists. Screwdrivers, phones, wallets, keys, trinkets, medicine, clothes, doesn't matter. All gone.
Because the second you start coordinating it becomes a crime. And if you don't coordinate, you can't excise the whole problem. So peaceful protesting seems to be the safer option. A gun isn't some magic talisman of power.
Well damn, I got my hopes up and dashed them quite expertly.
Doesn't Disney own Fox? So is Disney buying another streaming platform? Or is Disney pulling the Private Equity Firm model and saddling Fox with lots of debt before parting out its dessicated corpse after bleeding it dry?
Hometown? Orange Blossoms and Cow Shit.Current Town? Orange Blossoms and the smell of elder teens and young adults trying to figure out what to do with their lives amongst the onslaught of politicians telling them that getting an education will ruin them, while also stating that they don't deserve anything because they didn't get an education.
Gainesville is a small reprieve in the sea of red.
Academic IT here and and it's both. We had a professor attempt this and yeah. It attempted to run Powershell in an elevated (admin) prompt that would download and install a remote access tool that would allow whomever to just remote in and see what's going on, as well as attempt to install some other botnet control listeners.
My dick might not function, but I still have not lost my smile. That movie was wild. We had a group that would meetup every couple of weeks and we'd all bring just weird movies. I brought the movie "Vulgar" and then I think the group stopped meeting after that. Or maybe I just stopped getting invited.
Communism was just a red herring.
The blanket one gave me a bit of a tear. My son did the same to our late pup. She was so protective of him, even starting when my wife was pregnant, and was so happy when we first brought him home.
Someone once proposed to me that senate and house selection be like Jury Selection. A handful of random selections of eligible residents of each region and district are selected, job protected, and selected to represent them and their neighbors. Paid 200k for 5 years, so they walk out with 1mil in earnings, and then that's it. No career built on keeping themselves in office. If they fuck up, they have to face their neighbors. It's certainly not perfect. But better than 41 years of decline
My Friday was like that. All projects at work stalled with dead ends, so I had to plan to start them over from a point weeks in the past. My home projects kept failing because I was missing tools that I know exist in my collection but fuck if I could find them, and to relax I started playing a game I have hundreds of hours in and managed to fail spectacularly at. I ended up grabbing a near scalding shower and went to bed. Still pissed off the next day though.
Proxmox, sonarr, radarr, lidarr, (whisparr if you're feeling spicy), transmission, and Jellyfin. Took a little bit of finagling to make it all copacetic, but now I say "I want to see/hear that", log into a website, tell it I want to see/hear it, and a short time later, I see it or hear it.
Back when Windows XP was finally out of support and those machines had to be updated to Windows 7 (our department skipped Vista entirely), I had a bunch of users who adamantly refused to schedule to update, and they were assholes about it. Pretty soon after, all of the Windows XP machines mysteriously had a "required to boot" registry hive deleted. So all those computers found their way into my office and had to have Windows 7 installed to correct the issue. Weird crazy happenstance.
Such a fever dream of a show.
Uh wow. My wife's favorite horror movie villain is Freddy Krueger. How would I go about getting one of these for her?
Is that a temporary "the brakes are too hot to work for right now" failure, or a "your package is delayed by a few days while the truck and trailer are repaired" failure?
I love the sentiment, but North Dakota has a population of about 780k. Florida has a population of 21.5 million. California tops the charts at 39.5 million. I like the idea of opt-out automatic voter registration. The big issue is the auditing of the voter rolls in larger states, or even the larger metropolitan areas. In so many cases, we've seen the weak link be tired and apathetic humans in the chain. The fix is robust computer systems (AI) and we've seen we can't trust them either.
As a new JR tech at a biotech company, I had to drive from headquarters in Gainesville, FL to Birmingham, AL at 7pm at night because a contractor clipped the main line in for the network. I got to the hotel at 4am, woke up at 7am to get there at 8am when they opened to patch the cable, then make the drive back. What a nightmare that all was.
