yeah, we've liked pretty much everything we've tried, except for pork. Always comes out almost mushy. Was surprised how good carrots turn out though, that's become one of our go-to's
sous vide is such a game changer. can take "cheap" (relatively speaking) cuts of beef and make them delicious with very little effort. Give them a good quick sear over high heat afterwards and voila.

When you add up the people who did vote for him and the people who were unconcerned enough to let him win you've got a sizable majority. The majority of the people in this country are pieces of shit, full stop. And if it were only 49% pieces of shit would that be that much better? How the fuck did things fall this far? Elections shouldn't be as close as they have been...

I spent decades of my life being solidly anti-gun. I found (and still find) the fetishization of them super fucking creepy. But after Covid I saw how people changed, and my feelings...evolved. I highly, highly recommend that every POC and alphabet person buy and learn how to responsibly use a gun, yesterday. Trump has already gone on record saying he would take peoples' guns and "ask questions later." We are rapidly approaching the time where they start going door to door. 1/2

Welcome Home is what got me into them after I heard/played it in Rockband. I love how bonkers their stories are (for instance, Ten Speed is about a character called The Writer - who is responsible for writing Claudio's story - talking to his sentient bicycle about how he has to kill the main character's love interest...or something.) There have been comics and books and paintings and all kinds of stuff telling the stories over the years. Any of their first 4 albums are worth listening to.
I have never, in my several decades, seen a large group of people pick up after themselves. I haven't seen a small group of people pick up after themselves. People can't even take their trash to the trashcan in a movie theater. This has been a shithole country full of selfish assholes for as long as I can remember.
4.29 for a "large" which seems like it has about as many fries in at as the mediums did 10 years ago. The days of being able to get lots of (admittedly crappy) food for cheap has been over for a while.
