I figured they meant a state's (Maine's) supreme court. Why would he have anyting to say (as a governor) about the SCOTUS? (European here who doesn't get the whole 1st, 3rd, 11th circuit judge thing, what is a state court and what is a federal court, when there are 1, 3 or 7 judges, etc.).

I still think Fetterman because of his mini-stroke, my moms BF had one and he is different, still a dumbass trumper, but very different. Like keeps to himself, didn't even say 2 words to me at christmas, he doesn't remember some stuff and kinda sits around like an Anti-social mouth breather, even his co-workers have said he changed.

Best argument regarding this, if he turns out to be another Fettterman, at worst you get another Susan Collins which we already have, but if he isnt another Fetterman, than its arguably better than Susan Collins, the bar is that low.

Bernie has endorsed him. That’s the only reason it’s being brought up. I think he is probably a sumbag, but I still want him to win. Not just because fuck Susan Collins (although that would be enough) but also just to show mainstream “moderate” dems that we’re sick of their status quo bullshit. I know it sounds like virtue flagging or overbearing leftiness, and there are certainly disappointments who aren’t that, but I think for many of us there will always be a deep well-earned mistrust of white men.
