my interests include -memes -gardening -arting -being mentally unwell -DMing -freaks, geeks, nerds, birds -human rights -human wrongs -lists -surrealism, absurdism -video games -audio games (woo pub trivia!) -board games -bored games -word play also military/aircraft/Marines/army because that interests my husband and I like being able to talk to him about his interests.

I'm so sorry to hear that but what a fantastic choice of tattoo for it!

He doesn't have a long tail, that's what I'm asking about.

May I ask, is the tattoo just because or do you have a reason (like a heart issue) for it?

You don't have to answer. I'm just curious.

I just want to back this claim up.

Not doing the best financially right now, my daughter's birthday was on Saturday and a random imgurian was amazing and bought her pizza and donuts so she didn't have to settle for what we had left from the food pantry.

There's a whole post all the time about providing food for those that need it (it's why Pizza My Heart is an award you can give).

This sounds amazing, I think I'll wait until my husband's home from deployment to start it and do this. Lovely evening. We love listening to audiobooks together on long drives.

I met my husband online in a small chatroom (maaaaaaybe 20 regulars, tops) dedicated to playing basically pub trivia.

Became friends. Became best friends. Met. Met again and started dating the second time.

this was 20 years ago (that we met)

Good luck.

I prefer audiobooks anyway, as I'm a crafter with ADHD and they help me stay focused.

Oh good I was just wondering if it's any good? I don't trust reviews online, but I trust people who have actually read it and are willing to tell me they enjoyed it.

Dad smiling when his son starts to cry tears of joy is absolutely the best part of this to me. No "Real men don't cry." Just appreciation that his kid is that grateful for his gift.

I see you took a selfie in a Dungeon Crawler Carl cutout, have you read that?

It does look very nice on you. It's worth the luck!

As an older woman, I appreciate his support even if it's from that long ago.

I will always pardon a sloppy photoshop job.

Do sloppy Photoshop jobs not AI.

Well done @OP.

It can be a tough tightrope to walk between being too strict and not strict enough, That's the biggest issue I see. My dad was both. I tried to not be either.

My kids don't need straight A's but they do need to be passing. My kids don't get to just walk all over me, but they do have my respect. They are given privacy. They are allowed to be themselves, whether that's being a picky eater or being openly part of the LGBT+ community.

In return, they respect themselves, others, and me.

If it's someone you know, cut them out.

Don't let any pests taint your growth.

You have come a long way just in the time I been watching you on here. You're absolutely a woman, and they can fuck right off addressing you as anything but.

Bigots.

Thanks! I had a shit childhood so I learned how not to do things.

My kids all like me, despite being teens and adults, I think that's the biggest indication I have that I did well.

The onesie idea, while good in theory and they have ones specifically for cats, I've never known a cat who couldn't get out of one really fast.

I'd say go the donut route.

I'd like to add, my dad was one of 13, I'm one of 9, husband's dad is 1 of 7 (I think)

So we have HUGE reunions and I don't expect everyone to remember everyone's preferences. Should we always ask first? Probably. But that's just not how our families operate.

I have a free mom hugs pin, will not do unless asked. I won't force anyone to hug me, either (including my children and niblings). Consent is so important!

But "no hugs please" would be great for my son at family reunions. He's not big on being touched even by people he cares about unless on his terms.
