You might find a nice boy/girl, get together, make a family together. But I guarantee you you'll be talking about your youth for decades. It takes decades to 'shake that 'foundation'. If your boy/girlfriend gets home (happens once per year) drunk you immediately have flashbacks to dad. You dont know how to argue in marriage because you have been trained to avoid ANY arguements (but small arguements are normal in marriage). Etc etc. 2/2
Imagine your dad being a drunk and your mom hating you because . Your parents fight (with words) every single day of your life. When you're very young you become aware of the shouting. You try to tiptoe around it. You try to do good so your parents dont shout to eachother. You, as a young kid, form yourself completely around the situation at home. Then at 18 you move out. Then you try to build a life. Thats the 'foundation'. You have no clue what a normal family looks like. 1/2
I'm really pessimistic about this one. I think the midterms will be won massively by MAGA via cheating. Then some people want to revolt, but not enough people. Those people will go to jail, the rest will fall in line. That is what happens in most fascistic societies. And 20 years from now USA will look like Israel, with openly fascist people killing "non Americans" in the streets. I seriously think the fascists will win this time because they are willing to kill and we are not.
Fascism mostly doesnt last because it gets defeated by overwhelming force. And in countries where it doesnt get defeated it lasts till the leader dies. So thats 20...30..40 years of fascism because it "gets defeated". Sure, Trump might die tomorrow but his party is in place to take over for DECADES. And centrist democrats do nothing. Netanyahu might die but the people behind him (like Smotrich) are even more insane. And there is no 'overwhelming force' that can take on USA and Israel. So....
This has been going on for DECADES in the West Bank. And that is supposed to be the 'free' part of Palestine. Now imagine being locked up in Gaza. Can you imagine the Palestinians forming a resistance group? Can you imagine that resistance group doing resistance against these atrocities? Can you imagine the resistance "fighting dirty" because they dont have an airforce, nor army filled with tanks? We, Europe, have been supporting the fascists for DECADES now. Our leaders see this too!

I have heard people tell about how they drove home (safely) on 'autopilot' but have no recollection of it. I have never had that experience. I am 100% aware every second of the day till I go to sleep. But the second I wake up I'm 100% aware again. I also "dont dream". They say everyone dreams so I probably do, but I have never remembered a dream. So thats my... silent time?

I was anxious, doc gave me some pills. 30 minutes later, total silence in my head. Lasted half a day. It was beautiful. I really really really want to have those pills again but doc says no they are addictive. But I still remember the silence.
