Someone has to be on my team here, the hubby and I have a new boat- a large boat- and instead of calling it something classy or regal, he wants TROGDOR. It’s funny and all, but not as a yacht name!! (FYI, it isn’t a yacht yet, it’s a shipwreck, but one day! One day it will be nice!)

Are we sure that isn’t just another cop in the middle of a sheep smuggling sting operation that is baa-ing back?

I’m usually good as seeing the outcomes of possible decisions and information but I still can’t see that just knowing that would help me…
Was that your situation?

I wouldn’t dream of spending that much. But like, even if I am. I am old enough that other than just knowing “oh I’m not crazy for some of the things I do”, what good would it do me? I can’t fathom it would open up resources for me or even change how I behave.
And I’m not being argumentative, I genuinely don’t understand how it would help me to know that information. If I thought it would make my life easier I’d be all over it, bc sure as fk knows this isn’t easy. Your opinion?

Yesss.
I’ll be honest, there is a pretty high chance I’m on the spectrum, but I refuse to fully acknowledge that bc I’d just be another self diagnosing twit. Some of us are just weird.

Yikesssss. I’ve seen people with kidney stones and I think I’ve had 2. They are the fkn worst. Good luck and good drug, my friend.

I’m not sure exactly what that is, but I feel like wishing you a poop-free-pants kind of day. Haha. But really, that sounds rough, good luck.

Better for targeting, wayyy worse for Russian operations. What were they thinking? I know I know, we all realize they are incompetent, but damn that’s dumb.

Holyyyyy molyyyy. That’s even worse than I expected. Yay

I mean, several charges would apply. Should still be done, less sacrifice and consequence than Luigi. Unless they think you are trying to Luigi him… then it might be as severe.

I want to clarify.. again…, the misspelling of “actually” was on purpose, that was meant to be the dorky “let me correct you” sarcastic spelling. The rest of it was just bad typing.

Well that is riddled with errors, my bad. If there was an edit button I’d fix it, but I’m not deleting it and starting over. I think my point is legible.

Aktualy, this is another unfortunate event of a shit group of people taking something totally innocent and making it awful. The “ok” sign is not quite the same. What they are (supposed) to be doing is an upside down “ok” sign. It is pretty specific but there is supposed to be a different.
I got very angry for a while when this was a big deal bc as a scuba diver I use the “ok” symbol instead of thumbs ok .. bc the thumb means “up.” Got nervous to use it, which is ridiculous

Not dying on this hill of “trust them to make the right decisions.” He made the right decision in the air and caused no harm and then he and his commanders made more decisions based on safety. Do tell me where I’m wrong. Or would you still just rather see them all grounded indefinitely for no reason?

Wait, Coolio died?

I’ve seen both. I like the permanent plates though, less chance for human error. But yes, I do see the whiteboards more often.

So staff can know at a glance in case they forget while inside the room. It also helps verify the patient being treated, “I have the right patient but I’m supposed to be in another room”… it is another level of safety checks.

100% agreed.

He DID follow established guidelines!! Pilots are not infallible, that’s why this happened. What some people aren’t giving him credit for is the intense training and skill it takes for that pilot to safely maneuver out of the situation that happened. He was operating within safe limitations and removed himself as soon as it became potentially unsafe.

LOOK AT THIS ROGUE MORON. HOW DARE HE NOT CONSIDER THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTIONS (flying a plane) HE SHOULD BE JAILED FOR LIFE! /s

You are acting like the Blue Angels are on par with the dipshit Apache pilots from last week. Those are not the same situation and not the same level of skilled pilots, stop implying every pilot in the air is some rogue idiot.

FFS do you want them to just cancel every activity ever that could possibly maybe even slightly hurt someone? Heaven forbid people do things that aren’t in a padded bubble. Yes there is risk, no shit. What he did was not reckless, it was a deviation from the normal maneuver. He handled it safely and it’s over. He could be miles offshore and have a major malfunction and still take out the whole beach- IF he were an untrained moron. But he didn’t, and he isn’t.
