Yeah - tho tbf I really know nothing about the whole situation. I like to know more before I judge...that's all. It does look bad on the surface but I would like more info...in case the scenario I just mentioned is what happened. Until I know more there are too many questions. It's def. sus, tho...

Not really - what if the ex had just texted her for the first time in however long bc he heard that she got married? I really don't know anything about this but knowing that there was a single text does not give us more information. All else is just assumptions- all I was saying is that more info would be good.

Listen...I don't know anything about this. I'm just wondering what the text said. It sounds bad off the cuff, tho. I wouldn't do it and it does seem inappropriate but it seems like the context of the text should be known in order to fully appreciate what happened...that's all I'm saying.

This is what I was thinking...what was the text? If it was like "I'm happily married now...we're done forever and I don't think that we should talk anymore...good luck to you in the future and I hope that you find the right one for you" then it's actually really not a bad thing. The question is what was the text?

I'm not convinced that anyone/thing sentient would think that this is a good idea...

This...this comment is way to fucking low in the thread. Winding streets are not the problem...esp. if zones were changed so that shops could be within walking/biking distance. It's the rampant corporate pollution and billionaire jets that are causing 90% of the problem. This article is bullshit designed to get people to look away from the real problem.

due to a bunch of things our lawn has been wild for several years now. We have bees, birds, foxes, partridges, opossums, bunnies, snakes, bobcats, bears, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and other things (we do boarder a forest). We get fireflys by the ton and I love them.

It could be deeper, of course...but at the surface level the 'trend' part seemed to just be about gender roles. If I'm wrong it would not be the first time...it just came across that way to me as the video didn't seem to go into competence or anything deeper.

ty...it's just the truth. Keep at it :).

not prejudicial at all...

The "trend" is just reinforcing subtle sexism. The concept behind it is that "she" has no business using "his" power tools...which is complete bullshit. My husband and I share everything and we have both used the power tools many times...I think that this is a lot more normal than this trend would like people to believe.

bc she is horney but overwhelmed...too overwhelmed to start a relationship even tho part of her wants to try. She is exhausted...but still horney- and liked the thought but was too overwhelmed to actually try to make it happen - so no to the date but yes to the "thought fiddle skittle"...bc that takes way less energy and near zero effort.

good rating...I think that I did, in fact, cry about 4 times...

You've got this. If you don't give up it is only a matter of time until you succeed. I made a saying for myself: "It doesn't matter how many times you fall down. It doesn't even matter if it takes you a while to get back up, sometimes. It only matters that you get back up". I don't know if this will help you or not but I thought I'd share...just in case.

I tried searching for Colbert's new YouTube channel and I prob. missed it but I couldn't find it...only his old Late Night channel. Do you have a link or should I search for something special? Sorry if I'm just being dense...

"Stop being informed! This way the horrors won't bother you!" - for real?

It's not going to work itself out...citizens are going to have to get involved. Also, as for the "how" - you teach them. The Truth. You do it yourself and you get involved in their education. You teach them what the government is doing and world history and how this is happening. You teach them.

yeah...the bath one was not saying "I love you"...that was stressed cat talk (I recognized it)...that's why it proceeded to attack after.
