In this case it is something that should have been done ages ago, however, and that it is done for data centers is still fine - those data centers will be build regardless, so having nuclear power drive them is great. And once the data centers fail and die, hopefully the nuclear reactors will just stay around to provide power to the grid.

But not when needed, at least here. AC use spikes when people come home from work, but that is also when solar starts to rapidly become less useful. That combined with low wind speeds led to a spike in energy costs in Germany and The Netherlands a few days ago.
