#2 trim your cat's butt hair #5 get her fixed

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I think #2 might be purposefully carrying the poop. (Though I have experienced stuck-to-the-butt cat poop on multiple occassions.)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#11 is also eating the note.

11 years ago | Likes 233 Dislikes 1

am I the only one that would perform an autopsy on that cat to get my 300 back?

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

He genuinely looks sorry though. But he might be tricking us. Cats can do that.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

#8 is a badass.

11 years ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 0

All I can see in that cat's face is "You're God damn right I did."

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

...sadly they already proved this true on some street cat that got in my fenced yard and tried attacking them.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I really don't see how that is shaming it. I'd be proud.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I always wonder how dogs would be scared of a cat my dogs are nice to everything but once they are fucked with they will tear a cat apart.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

My dog is the friendliest dog in the world, and she's petrified of the cat.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here. A cat can only mess with a dog that doesn't want to kill it. If they keep letting it roam, one day it will find a dog that does.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

"I peed on the hamster" gets me everytime xD

11 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I think you should be more amazed by the fact that hamster is not eaten

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

probably was safely in a tank with and the cat peed through the top (lids usually mesh screen thingies)

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#18 is Toothless. No one can convince me otherwise.

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Cat in #10 gives absolutely no fucks

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I have & have had many blinds that look like this.....if it didn't cost so much for wood ones I would have them. Stinkin cats that I love.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Notice how most of these cats look proud? It's because they don't feel shame.

It's not like they can read, for all they know the signs read: 'The Lord High Cat of all that is fuzzy and cute'.

And then they conquered that great Egyptian Empire by dazzling them with the sheer force of their ballsiness.

I don't know.. The one that watched the mouse eat his food looked like he was reevaluating his life.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cats are sociopaths

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 with the mouse.. He looks like he just can't fucking believe the mouse did that.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dogs might look guilty but they still do a lot of similar bad things. I think the guilty look is a trick so you won't be mad at them...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dogs and cats don't know shame

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Idkx the condom eater looks pretty ashamed to me.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#8 has good reason to feel proud. Tough as nails

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Usually, when a cat's ears go back like that, it's because they're listening, angry, or proud as fuck.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I told people on imgur that my cat when he was younger once killed a grown black lab and they got upset. He was protecting a toddler

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Dumb as dirt. When the cat tries that with a racoon or aggressive dog, kitty will be a goner.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 and #6 are so adorable though <345

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Specially #16. Never seen proudest pose in a cat before...

The difference between dogs and cats.. Dogs feel bad and cats are assholes

Studies show that dogs do not feel shame or guilt. They may feel fear at owner disappointment. But that's not the same thing.

I had a cat that thought my petting him was his sister annoying him while he slept. He swatted me lightly then saw me. He panicked and ran.

One of the reasons I want to move move from Texas to Colorado. And for the scenery. I can only imagine the diff. when high.

Like...doubly high.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can only imagine lol

I mean, you can smoke catnip if you really wanna.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Depends on the state. In NJ it's pretty hard unless you are severely chronically or terminally ill.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too. Told a stoner coworker & he seemed SUPER concerned "What if you get cancer! Is it just the smoke!? Can you bake w/ it!?" So cute...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They actually aren't high. It triggers a portion of the brain related to sex drive. It ends up mostly confusing for spayed/neutered cats.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How's that not being high exactly?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So it gets them high is what you're saying?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

In larger portions does it have the same effect on humans?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, in humans the levels required for a high are also the levels required for toxicity.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Couple things: 1) We all know no one ever gets a security deposit back; 2) Pukes-in-the-fish bowl knows what he did with 0 fucks to give.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The pregnant one - That's why you spay and neuter your pets. Yarn butt - TAKE THAT CAT TO THE VET NOW. And don't leave yarn laying around.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They pull them out of the garbage. Friend's dog used to do it with used pads.

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I went to a friend's house once and the cat had dug a pad out of the trash and was very proud of himself. ew.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My first dog loved to pull used pads out of the trash :(

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

TL;DR - Cats are assholes

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 6

before anyone says "this is why cats suck" my dog is capable and probably has done all of these things in a single day.

11 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 7

Yes, but your dog realizes it displeases you and feels some guilt. Cats do not.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The guilt is a method of making itself feel better. It doesn't regret it a bit. Dog people man...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Things like these annoy me to no end when done by dogs but I chuckle when it's cats. I love cats. It makes me understand dog people.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

My dogs do these things also. Cats still suck.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

People forget that dogs can be assholes, too. Cats have resting bitch face and most people never seem to bother to try and train them.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

My cats are somewhat trained- they are kenneled at night and know that the "kissing lips noise" means we are leaving the room haha

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i don't know hes an asshole as much as i know hes crazy. i think hes so happy hes crazy sometimes.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That one seems to be more common that asshole for dogs. "EVERYTHING IS FUN, BREAK IT! WHEE!"

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I feel like a lot of these are cats being animals and people being stupid. Clean the box, don't leave condoms around, spay your cat, etc

11 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

The trash stuff is totally justifiable.. my cats will knock over trash cans so they can chew on the plastic bag and empty the contents.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

may have to put your trash can somewhere else. Chewing on and possibly ingesting plastic isn't awesome for any living thing.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My cat can get into anything... I'm trying my best.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

google trash can storage, I'm sure you'll find something

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Honest Question: What is cat nip? Is it actually like a drug for cats?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah but not all cats will have a reaction to it.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine doesn't. I tried two other "cat attractants" before I hit on silvervine. MUST FIND WAYS TO GET CAT STONED!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

im a have to check that one out. mine likes the catnip but not as much as other cats

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's also called matatabi, and it's easiest to get as a powder.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a plant that naturally produces a chemical similar to cat sex pheremones. Not all cats react to it (it's a genetic thing), but (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

those that do get really excited and/or loopy. Cats can't OD on it, fortunately: it's harmless and hilarious to watch. (2/2)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 I would have to say is especially nasty

11 years ago | Likes 187 Dislikes 2

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bowels hanging out or crushed spine so it was only wiggling I'm her mouth.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cats think humans suck at hunting so they try to feed you so you don't die and you can continue serving them.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

And I thought it couldn't get nastier than when mine sticks his paw in my mouth if I don't wake up on time....

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Diva was so proud. Diva just wanted to share. Diva thought she was doing a good thing. Humans are so strange.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's terrifying, but also sort of adorable that the cat is trying to feed its human.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 0

Which half, you got to wonder.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It means it thinks of you as their kitten.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it bad that I knew what that was before I clicked on it?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Should hate yourself for your own idiocy. Is it that hard to put shit like that in a garbage can with a lid?

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

We did. And the door to the bedroom was firmly closed. You think that's gonna stop a cat?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Wow I guess you must be right then. How cool.

He looks like he's seen some shit

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definitely has PTSD from that mouse.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#13 can be very dangerous! A family friend killed their cat because she tried to pull yarn out of her cat. If this happens, go to a vet!

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

but sound hilarious :c

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or better yet, don't leave yarn/ribbons/etc around for your cat to eat.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why would you have an un-spayed cat?

11 years ago | Likes 182 Dislikes 16

Because, else, there'll be no more kittens.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So you can have a bunch of little fluffs wandering about the house.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

"Oh, she'll never go outside!"

11 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 6

My sister adopted a cat from the Humane Society. My sister was told she was spayed. She wasn't....

11 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 1

Well, see, that's a feasible excuse.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

unless they're a kitten when brought in and spayed while there, they can only check, and once in a while, they make a mistake.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Hadn't thought of that. I suppose if they didn't have the cat in the shelter long enough to observe it in heat, they wouldn't know.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This happens more than it should in larger county run shelters. I heard way too many stories working at a private shelter.

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It is a large shelter. They helped pay for expenses including having each kitten fixed.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good. They should have! Kittens are awesome, as we all know. But surprise kittens and surprise cost of kittens not always a great thing.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it an imgur rule that every time someone posts a pregnant pet, someone bitches about it? I'm new here, I'd like to know.

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 7

It just annoying when p3ople bitch about their unspayed pet getting preggo. What did you think was going to happen?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yes

11 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

You'll find a lot of things crop up almost every time an animal post hits front page. Assumed abuse is also pretty common.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

God I hate that. Apparently everyone is constantly abusing their pets.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Especially annoying when it's about dogs. Some people want a specific breed and can't find one (or can't find a puppy) at shelters.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Nobody really bitches about litters of purebred dogs that have been clearly well-bred. People are bitching about accidents.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ours couldn’t get fixed until she was a certain age and after we made an appointment she got preggers.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 6

...It's really not that hard to keep a cat inside for 5-6 months. I mean, they're not even full-grown, that's like letting teenagers 1/2

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We let our cat out in the middle of the day because it was summer and she wanted out she was never out over night either. sorry she’s a slut

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is the same thing that happened to us. Her spawn is the best cat we've ever had though, so there's that.

11 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

If a vet tells you an animal can not be fixed before 6 months or sexual maturity, do not use that vet again. That is extremely outdated info

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's not really, tho. We recommend 5-6 months, for anesthetic safety. What we do reccomend, is keeping the cat indoors for 5-6 months.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 for days at a time and not thinking anything bad will happen to them. But maybe the cat was really determined and shot out the door. IDK

You should have kept your cat inside then. Great job helping reduce that pet overpopulation problem.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

Good thing we kept all the cats and now have 6 so it really didn’t make a difference to anyone but us. Assuming douche.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You have 6 cats? Jesus.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are slippery, especially in heat

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

then get them spayed before they go into heat or...hear me out...expect that they're sneaky and be extra careful.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

The previous one had an appointment ready. I'm guessing they didn't expect it yet

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

you sir, are an asshat.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I'm tired of healthy animals getting euthanized at shelters...so that makes me an asshat.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Tell me, before you just hit the down arrow. Have you ever held a kitten when it's heart stops? Because I do it every fucking day.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

So I think I get to be a little angry when someone adds another 6 kittens to my list for the day.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I think not being responsible for your pet and increasing pet overpopulation is pretty shitty. I think you might be confused.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

That's...interesting. You can do a spay pretty early, definitely earlier than reproductive maturity.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

They want you to wait because it is a complete hysterectomy, but that is old info that only a small town vet would still use (like mine).

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, mine was 14 weeks old. I know it's tougher with females because it's more invasive, but you should be able to spay at 3 months.

All the mommy and daddy stuff. It's so goddamn creepy and weird.

11 years ago | Likes 95 Dislikes 23

My brother's wife goes as far as narrating their dogs actions and referring to her and my brother as mommy and daddy in the dogs' voices.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

I have an aunt that does that, they have 7 chihuahuas and a medium sized mixed breed who all have voices of their own.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Now they're having an actual baby and I wonder if she'll do the same thing...

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Kid is never allowed to talk because mommy thought of a better response :).

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2) Of course we don't put the cat in a stroller or anything stupid like that, though. Saw that on Jackson Galaxy once. Jesus, really? >.<

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well seeing as I don't want crotch droppings, a pet is as close as I'll get to being responsible for another living thing.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

As long as they still get they can't raise the pet like a child, like my friends w/ "fur babies" do, and don't mess up the pet, meh

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I know a few people who go for the mommy and daddy stuff, and I also think it's suuuuuper weird. I am not an animal person, though

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

as an animal person, its kind of weird.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

We're a couple with no children, so our joke is to call the cat "the kid"; therefore, we're Mom/Dad. She's family, and we love her. (1)

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It only gets weird when people actually treat their animals like children. Being a part of the family is fine, but they aren't babies.

11 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 4

> And then they wondered why their cat was angry and attacked them all the time. Blows my mind that people can be so stupid/dense.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Like on that "My Cat From Hell" episode where the two stupid women put their cat in a stroller and walked it around the neighborhood?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Driving lessons, that's when it gets really weird. Cats can't drive. They can't reach the pedals. They don't understand traffic lights.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

My cat thinks she's my baby. She needs to be near me at all times, won't eat unless I watch, and tries to nurse from my armpits.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She also follows my verbal commands and talks back to me in her own invented language. We have a strange relationship.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

correction: the cat thinks she is your KITTEN- not your baby. you still shouldn't treat it like a human child (as many people try to do)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not really, most people who have pets consider them family. And instead of saying "owners" most people say mommy/daddy to their pets.

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 8

Yeah that's an assumption you're making. Lot of my friends have pets, litterally none of them call themselves mom or dad to their pet.

11 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 9

That was my understanding, since everyone I've ever met refers to their self's as mommy/daddy if they have pets.

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 4

Look. I think it's clear what we have to do. The only way to solve this argument is for you and me to have a knife fight at dawn. You in?

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

There is no argument, every one is different, like you and myself. You don't refer yourself as mom/dad to your pets whereas I do.

Give me a place and I'll bring a film crew.

Cat pictures are making me sad, my cat was attacked by a pitbull on Monday. He's home and resting now but has 6 broken ribs :(

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

animals will be animals, but they are still great

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As the owner of a cat-loving Pittie, that makes me so sad :(. Thank goodness your cat will be ok. Hope you make the owners' pay for the bill

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes they have agreed to help with the cost

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oh no! I hope he has a speedy recovery. Stray dog or did the cat wander into the wrong yard? Dog owner helping with bet bill?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Had a storm in the area and the owners dog got out, happened in my driveway. Dog has never been aggressive so I do sympathise with the owner

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'm so sorry your cat was hurt but glad you aren't going off about pit bulls. I do hope your cat recovers quickly.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No I love animals! It's just a shitty situation all around. I'm just thankful he will be okay. Thank you for your kind words
