If you didn't hear, Trump's second Executive Order Muslim ban was struck down once again...for being a ban on Muslims entering the country. That darn judge from Hawaii, and that darn judge from Maryland both did what Trump supporters claim we aren't supposed to do, and took Trump both seriously and literally.

It turns out when you shout for a year straight that you want to block Muslims from entering the country, and tell Giuliani you want to find out how to legally keep out Muslims, the courts are going to take the context of the EO into their decision when making a ruling.

Now that Hawaiin Judge Derrick Watson has stated this, it's going to take quite a bit of work for any sort of Travel Ban to be put into place.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/mar/15/trump-travel-ban-muslims-hawaii-judge-power-words

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/social-issues/second-federal-judge-blocks-revised-trump-travel-ban/2017/03/16/dc47cd1e-0a2a-11e7-93dc-00f9bdd74ed1_story.html?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.06389fb78661

That's the face of a sick fucking individual. Why now? Well, because this asshole is cutting $3b from the CDBG program which primarily funds Meals on Wheels. This motherfucker is going to spend $40 billion on a fucking wall, and $60 billion MORE on an already inflated military, and do it on the back of cutting tiny programs like Meals on Wheels, NEA (which supports PBS and NPR, two of the most well-regarded news organizations in the world), and cutting the EPA by a third.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-meals-on-wheels-cut-pay-mexico-border-wall-immigration-fema-us-coastguard-budget-a7632551.html

But that isn't the only thing being cut under Trump's Make America As Shitty As Possible, Brought To You By Steve Bannon budget plan.

Eh. Fuck it. I don't think any of those departments getting cut matter.

- $200,000,000 gone from McGovern-Dole can't matter.
- $500,000,000 for the Water and Wastewater grant program surely isn't going to be needed.
- $200,000,000 going away from WIC food services isn't going to hurt anyone.
- $250,000,000 that went to coastal research, which readies towns against rising seas, total waste.
- $3,700,000,000 in grants for teacher training and student aid programs? Fuck those people.
- $900,000,000 for science funding and research isn't needed. No future in that shit.
- $5,000,000,000+ cut to NIH funding of medical researchers. Surely that isn't a worthy cause.
- $1,000,000,000 cut from federal prison construction (in the name of more private prisons).
- $2,600,000,000 cut from Labor including training programs for broke kids and seniors. Who needs work?
- $11,000,000,000 cut from State. Who needs UN peacekeeping or climate change programs anyway?
- $500,000,000 cut from TIGER grants, which funds road rebuilding. Our roads are fine.
- $2,500,000,000 cut from the EPA. Fuck the environment. Only assholes like breathing clean air.

None of this money is needed to help people. What will this money do? Buy more F-35s (seriously), build Trump's stupid fucking wall, and increase the size of our military. This shit is why I don't vote Republican anymore.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/classic-apps/what-trump-cut-in-his-budget/2017/03/16/00b1e2a0-09e7-11e7-93dc-00f9bdd74ed1_story.html?utm_term=.1c5764e5dc9f

Alex Oronov, a Ukranian-American that set up a meeting between Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen and Russian officials has died suddenly. Something that seems to happen a lot. The point of the meeting was to formulate a plan to "peacefully" get Crimea into Putin's hands.

Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin died last month due to inconclusive reasons.

Russian Consul in Athens, Andrei Malanin was found dead, died of natural causes.

Russian Ambassador to India, Alex Kadakin died of heart failure.

Russion diplomat Sergei Krivov was found beaten unconscious in NYC, then died of unknown causes.

Russian diplomats Andrei Karlov and Peter Polshikov were both shot dead.

Former KGB chief Oleg Erovinkin (helped Chris Steele with the dossier) was found dead in his car.

Surely these are all coincidental. I'm glad our executive branch is looking to get tighter with Russia. It's surely a good thing that our president wants to be Putin's pawn.

Republicare, the piece of shit healthcare bill written by Paul Ryan and Trump took a pretty big hit when the Congressional Budget Office, and the White House internal analysis projected between 24M-26M people will lose their healthcare over the next 10 years. And no, assholes, you aren't safe just because you have healthcare through your employer. 10%-15% of those losing healthcare will be those on employer-based healthcare.

But this is going to reduce the national deficit by over $330B over 10 years, so it's all good.

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/03/obamacare-uninsured-white-house-236019

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Trump admitted that this bill was going to help the rich and hurt the poor.

CARLSON: This bill has as one of its centerpieces a tax-cut for investors that would primarily benefit people making over $250,000 a year. They’ve already done pretty well in the past ten years, as you know.

TRUMP: Yeah.

CARLSON: A Bloomberg analysis showed that counties that voted for you — middle-class and working-class counties — would do far less well under this bill —

TRUMP: Yeah. Oh, I know.

CARLSON: — than the counties that voted for Hillary, the more affluent counties.

TRUMP: I know. It’s very preliminary.

CARLSON: It seems like maybe this isn’t consistent with the last election.

TRUMP: No. A lot of things aren’t consistent. But this is going to be negotiated.

Trump then goes on to say Democrats hate the Republicans, and that is why everything is fucked up. Never before have I seen such a clear case of projection.

yes

Some notes:

1) One of the complaints I get is that I'm not sourcing enough stuff from right leaning outlets. A) Well, I looked harder this time, and most of these stories weren't covered at all, or sparingly at those places. B) These stories are all based in fact, are all well sourced on their own, and are true accounts of actual things that happened. If you want to believe alternative facts, and think that every outlet that doesn't confirm your bias is full of shit: That is on you, and you are going to have a tough life, kid.

2) I really appreciate the messages and comments of support. It means a lot. I am trying my best to do some grassroots coverage here for people that don't have the time or the wont to go through the stupid number of political stories that hit each day, and try to sum it up in a concise, flavorful manner for you all.

3) Please don't downvote people that are correcting spelling, asking pertinent questions, or asking for clarification. I post all of these on first draft while I'm working, so speling/grammer may get fuked up. It doesn't hurt my feelings. And learning more is always good. I do my best to answer as many questions as I can, and there is a pretty dedicated group of Imgurians I see in the comments helping with this as well. Learning is good.

The VA does not have a fucking funding problem.

The ONLY piece of good news that I see here is that the Department for Veteran's Affairs is getting a bit of a boost because they need it.

But is it going towards treatment or bigger salaries? The VA is overpaid management heavy as it is...

For the record, struck down and an injunction are two different things. The order has not been struck down as there hasnt been a hearing yet

2/2 judges have simply blocked the order from going into effect as the plaintiffs have shown a likelihood of success and irreparable harm.

Very few government workers are, the idiots just cherry pick the worst cases which you'd find in even the private sector.

Same with those who criticize science. They seem to think we use 90% of Grant money to pay our salaries.

It's not terrible that grant money creates jobs though...

The size of a government agency's budget doesn't directly translate into its effectiveness. Every facet of the US gov is full of bloat.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 39

...are you trying to tell us that Trump is surgically cutting bloat and not reducing the effectiveness of these departments? Source pls?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I too, want ineffective spending to be cut, but that has nеvеr seemed to be his objective, despite his.. words...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Every facet of every organization has bloat. If we were to kill every entity without it, we'd still have to build our own houses w/logs.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

And? Not sure how that precludes trimming the fat.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 11

Cutting the budget is ineffective at cutting the fat. Nothing is that simple.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because the fat won't get trimmed in places that matter like not spending $300 on headphones that are on Amazon for 60. It'll be cut by.....

No, he just told alternative truths.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're wrong. He had always promised access to care, not coverage. Don't mince words.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 8

It's about halfway down in this article. He literally says he's going to take care of everyone and the government is going to pay for it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This isn't even candidate Trump. He didn't campaign or promise this to the voters. Low energy reply is sad.

To be fair, he said his bill would give more people "the option" of getting HC. You kick over 20M off the rolls, they now have the option!

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

No, he promised that everyone would have insurance. The "access to insurance" thing was ass covering after the fact

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Remember "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor"? That was a lie too, eh?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 45

I'm gonna be honest, I'd rather have to change doctors than lose my healthcare entirely, solely to give tax cuts to the top 10%.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

Tbf Trump said you can keep your doctor too.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No one is saying Obama didn't lie, we're only saying that Trump lies more

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They all lie. All of them. That's my point.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup, and some lie worse than others. That's my point.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah this is the thing that Trump deflectors seem unable to grasp

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So it's just a matter of frequency? Hell, a liar is a liar, in my book. And, again, they all lie like rugs.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump supporters will not care what he does.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, they right, because they won't have insurance to pay for in the first place.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Having talked to some who want it repealed and not replaced, that's accurate. They think the ACA is the sole reason insurance premiums hiked

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

Look at what Marco Rubio did with his poison pill into medicare.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Didn't insurance premiums raise more under Bush2? http://www.factcheck.org/2015/02/slower-premium-growth-under-obama/

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Quite true. Also, extremely expensive medication and longer life expectancy are contributing to premiums.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

White people are not living as long as they were a couple of years ago. No joke, we need better/cheaper health care.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's like people have no memory. The only reason ACA was possible was because rates were rising so fast. Mine went up 20%/year four times

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Would a populist be proposing a system that hurts the poor the most?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 18

Nah, but a demagogue would tell them he is working on the greatest policies that would benefit everyone.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Am I really getting downvoted for pointing out that a populist by definition doesn't work to benefit a small group?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

A populist is basically someone who claims to represent the great masses against the elite. Bonus points if you're a member of that elite.

I don't know what kind of Republican you are, but none of these people are actual Republicans IMO. It's sad.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 15

Nope: this is what the Republican party has become - it's why the Democrats put up solid conservatives like Obama (and even HC).

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

I wouldn't consider them conservative, at least in regards to the US. More of left leaning moderates.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

But they are - you're only saying that because of the context of the GOP being extreme right-wing corporatists/white supremacists.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Overton Window in full effect. They look pretty left because the country as a whole is very right wing

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Republicans have always wanted to gut essential social programs. Trump isn't really a far departure from the party, he's just more crass.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

...on that particular issue. Constantly undermining faith in the concept of democracy and destroying our alliance system isn't the GOP

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And yet there is little if any resistance from the Republicans in power to any of Trump's policies/actions.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think so. A democracy is always about organisation and forming a broad enough consensus to justify a mandate.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A "hard power" budget, because the reason ISIS is growing is a lack of fighter jets.

9 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 3

Ironically, the force having the most luck quelling ISIS has no high power equipment. They have rifles, tactics, and being batshit

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's because they're local forces. They are fighting in their own land and they don't have to follow rules of engagement.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thing is most of Congress have become glorified yes men to Trump and won't stand up to him, so yeah he's essentially doing w/e he wants

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Um no. Congress have always been ruining the country. Now they can get away with it since Obama is gone and Trump is an idiot

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yes and these policies are giving several republican members of Congress permi-stiffies.

Yes and no. Congress *should* be more of a check on his wrongdoing, but the judiciary is the first line against executive orders.

Why would they want to do that? They have a perfect puppet president.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But Putin's puppet. From their POV he's a loose cannot who keeps making new enemies, arousing opposition, & making them look like idiots.

I gotta say though, even true conservative ideology is good for the corporations, and bad for pretty much everyone else.

We need to get some people dressed like the British to toss his spray tanner into a harbor!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

... He has his own line of clothing ,that would do too. Fill a shipping container with it, dump it into a harbor.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

GOP Congress and almost all of this fits right into their agenda. Checks and balances don't work when you give all the chips to one party.

9 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 1

Hell if he wanted to he can disband the court.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What? Where are you getting that from? That's blatantly unconstitutional, and there's no way he has the votes to amend the constitution to

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eliminate an entire branch of government

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump is their ideal guy--someone who wants to play President but will sign any bill they throw on his desk

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

That doesn't seem to be happening all that much though, the ACA repeal and replace is being heavily disputed even amongst themselves.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm a bit worried it's mainly for show. If anything remotely resembling it passes, then it was smoke.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But the GOP are all good Christians and would never intentionally harm the poor and needy... I couldn't even type this with a straight face

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, needed more characters. Hoping there will be a backlash in the midterms. Fearing there won't be.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

If there isn't a (historically predictable) swing at the mid-terms, a lot of people are going to be sure that the vote was rigged.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Because of the gerrymandering that occurred in 2010. I'm sure plenty republicans in former swing districts are gonna keep their seats

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Welp. I always wanted to shoot a nazi, but was born in the wrong era and didn't want to travel anyway. I guess that's working out for me...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. Hopeful but not optimistic.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

As bad as it is, I kinda want Trumpcare to pass for the backlash against the GOP.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The problem is I'm not sure the backlash will come. If there's one thing this election has reaffirmed for me, it's the gullibility of [1]

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

my country's people. I fear they'll piss in our faces, tell us it's rain, and roughly half of us will keep drinking it. [2]

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Which is majority Republican. They've already shown that they no matter how much they decry him, they won't break rank and vote "no."

9 years ago | Likes 749 Dislikes 19

No one wants to be the 'traitor'. We all saw how that one went...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is so dumb. They vote in a way that benefits them most. That bounces between financial support and reelection. Tump's opinion of them >

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

< doesn't matter for shit.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Party over country. Disgusting.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yeah, there was a lot of 'Republicans hate him, so they'll keep him in check' before the election... and yet, that hasn't happened.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

This entire fucking government turned into a famed football game. It doesn't matter if your team sucks, as long as they win.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

We knew that before the election though...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Those cowards

9 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 5

Remember that in the upcoming election.

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

The upcoming election will be my first, and I will remember everyone who stood by and watched.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

And the pickles will fly!

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Can't we just, like, blow them all up and start from scratch or something?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

Not advisable. The people who are likely to turn up with pitchforks and torches have already voted for Trump and the republicans.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

I dunno, minorities and liberals are starting to arm themselves. We're all really worn down and angry with the current system.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Liberals are smarter people and know full well that revolutionary upheaval is likely to bring new (other) dangerous demagogues to power.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

And... now your on a list.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yeah, you can try cocksucker. But, its little nerds like you who cant hold a fucking gun, let alone shoot it, who would get their ass kicked

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 37

I love how people like you throw the word triggered around to make fun of stereotypes, but holy shit you fucks are so sensitive.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Aw did someone offend you Trumpet? Sounds like you need a safe space.

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

He didnt "assume my gender" and now im crying and need a safe space. I didn't watch a President get elected and need a dog to pet

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 16

He didn't say something anti woman and now i need a safe space. He literally suggested that we kill AMERICANS.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 16

So, you are fine with him suggesting to kill other Americans? Blowing them up like a terrorist? He didn't hurt my feelings, he wants to kill

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 15

My stepdad was a cop, I've had weapons training and since I live in Alabama I go hunting regularly. Did someone upset you snowflake?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Do not try and act like you are a better person. You are insane to suggest killing Americans. Your step dad done a terrible job raising you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 11

Yeah...im sure thats all true. And you didnt assume my sexuality and snowflake trigger me. You suggested taking American lives.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 10

That's terrorism... so.... no.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It worked for Guy Fawkes. I mean it didn't really work, but it did wonders for his reputation.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would call Trump, his administration, and most of those in the House traitors. Tradition punishment for that is imprisonment or execution.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Britain and France called the American Revolution and the French Revolution terrorism, were they right?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes. only enormous effort by really awesome people made America better than a renamed monarchy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yeah, I'm hoping there will be something of a revolution in the mid-terms.

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 1

I'm hoping shit won't go so bat-shit crazy we have a civil war.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If there's not a (historically predictable) swing in the midterms, then you get the revolution.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Not if the football, basketball and baseball are still going. Hell, even if the Ice Hockey is still on the TV. Comfort will keep them home

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Pfft. Those of us condemned to die by the republicans will be in way too much pain to sit still. XD

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It'll certainly be interesting to see how Dems bend over backwards to 'let it happen' for the sake of bipartisanship.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

As much as I detest obstructionism... By god, we might just need it right now.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

They're talking about denying his supreme court pick just as a middle finger for what Repubs did to Obama

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

It's my hope, too. But my concern lies with young adult registered voters that tend to not vote in mid-terms.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

At best you get McCain who bitches a ton then still holds Donny's balls.

9 years ago | Likes 393 Dislikes 13

You are pretty clueless mate. McCain is a globalist shill just like Clintons the bush and Obama. He's a fucking disgrace

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

Found the white nationalist, inbred hick.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Did you, though? See here's the thing. You have been conditioned to denigrate and attack anyone who disagrees with you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I HEAR YOU TALKIN SHIT MCCAIN BUT YOU'RE STILL WALKIN ROUND WITH MY NUTZ IN YOUR POCKET - Donald Trump

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So true. He talks a good game, but when it comes to voting he's a party line pussy.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

McCain is such a fucking coward.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Anytime I hear "at best" & "McCain" in the same sentence I cringe.....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's from my state and I've been trying to get rid of him for years. Even crossing party lines to fire him

9 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 0

Amen brother. I imagine you're still conservative but we have a common enemy. https://www.numbersusa.com/content/my/congress/328/contact

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I can't stand that fuckstick...

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Mate... nobody should identify with a party. Ever. You support 'em when they work for you, and you fire 'em when they don't. They ain't YOU.

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

I don't identify with then, but I am registered with them. Worth it fir primary voting

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

But he got caught in Vietnam. What a loser. Sad!

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

I don't agree with his politics, but I'll be damned if I ever call McCain non-patriotic. Solid American, bad politics.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Read more. Did you know he left his first wife because he wasn't attracted to her after she was disfigured in a car accident? Cheated on he

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Honest question: what do you suspect to be the reason behind all the death Russians? I seem to be missing out on sm information here. Thanks

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

Good question. We need to compare with numbers from 1, 5, 10 years ago. It *could* be just statistics as people tend to die at some point.

Putin political opponents and key players in meetings that need to be covered up. Authoritarianism run rampant.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 10

So all of them were opponents? That makes it look a bit shady

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I think all of them but one were people that spoke openly about disliking Putin's direction. It is shady for sure.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 4

I don't think anyone wants any sort of alliance between USA and RF to happen. Probably anyone with any agency works against it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I wonder how much destruction the GOP will let that pos get away with before they realize enough is enough.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

All of it. It will be tremendous.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All of it.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Title picture totally not clickbait

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

I'm ok with this style of clickbait. As long as it's not something that will "blow my mind" and ends up being obscenely underwhelming.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

"Its ok that it was clickbait because i agree with him that trump is a piece of shit." I feel like this guy is just a pointwhore

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

While I agree with him, I MAINLY like this clickbait because its informative and not what I expressed in my previous comment.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If I was a point where I'd just post pics of tits that make the front page every day. Would save the time putting these posts together.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

must be tough for people to go from Right to Left wing every 4-8 years. the next admin spends 2.5 years undoing the prev admins efforts

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 6

Obama was basically right wing

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

This is the problem with the 2-party system: one is by definition left, the other right. Most people don't know the rest of the world.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Obama was right of the actual center, but left of the american center

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

I'm left. Obama was center-left. Trump is so far right of the line the line is a dot to him.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 3

And Obama was right wing when compared to pretty much every other western democracy.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's an alternative line.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not me I didn't get to those till the end of the post, after the news.

I want to hear from intelligent pro-Trump supporters that explain clearly why they support him. Not because I do but I want to hear them out

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 7

And I want to hear from a fucking unicorn who can play the trombone.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 7

Good luck finding those intelligent Trump supporters...

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 19

Genuinely though

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Many voted him bc they just wanted to say fuck you to Washington. Not that many of them realised that this would cost them a leg or two.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

not a "pro trump supporter" but I do support President Trump, as it is my job.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Two words: Supreme Court

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"intelligent pro-Trump supporters" lol.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 10

So...you're looking to hear from a unicorn?

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 14

Us Trump supporters are too busy working and paying taxes so that we can support the lazy liberals that post on imgur all day.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 50

Ignore this guy, his statement is full of fallacies. Not worthy of arguing with it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You had time to post a snarky comment but cant take time to give insight into your stance???

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

That's what you got? You're not even a good troll.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think it would be cool to hear from too, but the majority of the people commenting under this with the typical rhetoric thrown around 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

by a good portion of people really does discourage any sort of discourse for fear (or just not wanting to deal with it) of being attacked

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

A friend of mine, who in my opinion is very smart, supports Trump. I can't speak for him about why, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind explaining

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Oops! Haha, I'm so bad at paying attention. We know where this is meant to go though, right..? (ㆀ˘・з・˘)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because the left encourages intelligent conversation and doesn't downvote and insult to oblivion when someone does speak up.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 12

Alternative. Facts. All I need to say about the right and intellectual discussion

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Hahaha

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well done, you're completely demonstrative of the problem. When asked to provide a rational reason, you sidestep and blame someone else.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

People of alll kinds dot hat. No whole group is made up of that.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Because he wasn't Hillary and any damage he does will be out in the open.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Besides the Hillary thing, why do you support him ?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

"Beside your reason for supporting him why do you support him?"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Just want to know if there were other reasons geez lol

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

it just seems odd to ask, if he had other reasons you think he'd list them yeah?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That was pretty much the only reason. Not like there was a better choice in the end.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, Republicare is better. Tie it around all of their necks and hope it fucking drowns them.

9 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 2

He didn't do it. It's republicans and the republicans who don't like it, think it doesn't screw sick people ENOUGH.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Trump knows nothing about healthcare and said as much ("Who knew..?"). This is the plan repubs have worked on for >7 years.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The man who put his name on everything doesn't want his name on this. Think about that.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You mean trumpdontcare

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Calling it Trumpcare takes the GOP name off of it, even though they are all complicit.

9 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 3

And who wrote the version of the ACA that was eventually passed? Didn't stop people from calling it Obamacare.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

The GOP called it Obamacare as a boogeyman to scare voters. Time to return the favor.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Grand Old Trumpcare?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

More than complicit, because I garuntee Trump had zero input outside of shrieking "gon repeal oburmurcare" at campaign rallies.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He essentially admitted he has no idea what the fuck is going on with healthcare.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And having his name anywhere near "care" is totally wrong. Totally. Wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Call it two things.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Call it Ryancare. It's his brainchild.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It's shit. But it is also Ryans baby.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why not "tell it like it is" and just call it shit?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

thought that was implied in 'RyanCare'.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I call it Republican Insurance Program, or R.I.P.

9 years ago | Likes 126 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

1/2 I support almost everything you said, except one minor point @OP. Trump did not write this healthcare bill. He won't even read anything

9 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 5

Paul Ryan has been saying that it was written in direct consultation with Trump. This is an attempt to keep Trump from distancing himself

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

He can say that, but it's not backed up by any other evidence, including everything we know about Trump's personal 'style' of governing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

then trump supporters should eat that shit up. perfect

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also I don't see how it bans Muslims when it doesnt affect 90% of the Muslim population.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/2 ...Because it specifically targets 10% of them, one of it's authors SAID it was designed as a Muslim Ban ON TELEVISION, and its first

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 incarnation had an opt out for everyone who was not a Muslim. Although currently it bans no one because the courts stayed it. Again.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2/2 longer than one page, and it's clear he's been bullshitting about it in interviews. Pence wrote it with Ryan. Trump is just pushing it.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 4

If you think "her emails" were ever a really a major factor, you missed so much of what actually happened last year.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 42

It's a joke. Many Trump supporters, when faced with criticism of their overlord, jump to how Hill would have been a worse choice! Like 1/

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 3

Except they're often blaming Hill for crushing the most energizing democrat in a generation, and people aren't listening.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yeah, that fucking sucked, and I voted for Bernie, but what's done is done. We need to focus on the damage happening now.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is a retarded over simplification. Just because Trump is bad or worse doesn't mean Hillary wasn't a fucking turd.

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 108

At least she was a qualified, knowledgeable turd who wouldn't embarass your country daily. But on the other hand her emails.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Actually trump is way worse than hillary.

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 8

That's why is said bad or worse. Yaknow to leave it open for people to decide and not get comments like this.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 25

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

Still a turd nonetheless

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 17

A turd many would prefer by orders of magnitude.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 6

The point is that Trump defenders are STILL TALKING ABOUT HILLARY to deflect from their idiotic overlord. For all the talk of "he won! 1/

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

get over it!" they keep talking about Hillary when Trump is criticized. That's why his comment is sarcasm. /2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Still don't think she'd run you country to shambles or try to like Mr T.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

I'd hope not since I live in Finland.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

So then your opinion on the matter means nothing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I guess to you it doesn't. That's really up to each individual to decide.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

The email "thing" was the lamest uproar, and this meme is rightfully put forth to mock those who cried about it with no word against him.

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 7

The whole "but her emails" implies the emails are the only scandal that tarnish her character.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 45

I appreciate that, but at the end of the day if voters had actually taken Trump at his word her character would have been a non issue

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh you're right. It's not the only fake scandal repubs have tried to put on her.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 7

Yeah she's just an infallible little princess and every scandal involving her is fake news.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 19

I mean, I had more than that to complain about her, but again, the emails was a large portion of what we heard from detractors.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Yeah, and? I strongly dislike Hillary, and I would have gladly *eaten* that turd and asked for seconds rather than have this clown.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

That's all fine and dandy. What I take issue with is this post election sweeping under the rug Hillary did nothing wrong shit.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 17

It's because she did nothing wrong. The world doesn't have to cater to your mental illness.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

She dindu nuffin?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 10

It's not necessarily saying that she did nothing wrong: there are a lot of legit complaints against her. It's pointing out that many of 1/2

It's brought up as a red herring as it has NOTHING to do with the present president. Fucktards like you don't seem to understand that.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

You're too nice.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I know I am, you're welcome.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I dont' think she'd be trying to ban Muslims and cut all this funding in exchange for a wall lol

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Didn't say she would but its not her only flaw is "but muh emails"

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Isn't 9% of the defense budget (50b?) more than all the other cuts combined?

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 4

This wording could be easily misunderstood to mean you think defense is be cut by 9% instead of increased by 9%.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

If you are confused see figure above

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The word "other" implies that defense is included as one of the cuts. I know that's not what the chart says. I'm saying someone (1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2/2) just reading your comment would get the wrong impression defense is being cut more than anything else, which is not true.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The 0.2% social security increase, not even listen in the chart, is more than the EPA slashing.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Bullshit! Fake news!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The 0.2% social security increase is $19M. This is money to run the department, not the funding for the checks. The EPA loses $2.6B.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Good. I thought it was 0.2% out of $888b

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How come that wasn't in the chart?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

OP has a subtle left-leaning bias

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Because he's wrong. It's a $19M increase. Compare to EPA losing $2.5B.

1/2 As an aeronautical engineer, I love the F-35. It is a truly fantastic aircraft. But I cannot, in good conscience, take money away from

9 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 9

how many do we already have, and when was the last time we actually used one?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But we need more A-10s tho'

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn straight, son. Oh, and toss in some revamped OV-10 Broncos for days when even the A-10 is too expensive.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With ISIS being the big problem of the day - yes. It's stupidly cost efficient.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 needed programs to pay for it.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 5

It is such a neat aircraft. The future ones I got to see modes of are even neater... it's so cool to see what engineers are doing!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Models*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, not stealth if you put armaments on it, can't take off with a full tank of gas, lost every dogfight so far, and pilots hate flying it

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weren't there some preliminary combat tests where the Super Hornet actually outperformed the F-35? 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

The F-35C is the only 5th Gen. aircraft that can operator from carriers. That's why it's important.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Correct. It did. the F35 tries to be too many things and ends up not doing any one thing exceptionally well. The tech in it is also buggy.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Also, if the US wanted a high performance aircraft, wouldn't it have been more effective to at least base it on the F-22? 2/2

The F-22 was phased out due to high costs and the fact it vastly outperformed any competitors, so surely it would not be a bad place 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The F-22 had too many secrets the US wasnt willing to give up to allow sale of the plane to other countries.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We wanted a versatile craft with vertical takeoff. It was never meant for air to air engagements

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One of the models is capable of vertical landing and none are capable of vertical takeoff. Its main roles are ground attack and air defence.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"High performance" ? That's not how aircraft are designed/compared. The F-22 has a vastly different role than the JSF.

Thank you! F-35 is not intended for air-to-air engagements

Considering how much opposition there is to Republicare, even from Republicans, I don't see that bill making it very far.

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 8

Not in its current state. There was just enough support for Obamacare and it took him years of drafting and revisions.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Republicans are the majority right now, and there's so much pressure to repeal the ACA. I'm thinking they'll Cave to the pressure of it all.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not in it's current state. The senate doesn't just approve bills without rewrites. It would be unprecedented.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Famous last words.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The AARP opposes it. That's the GOP voter core. It's gonna have a lot of problems.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most of that internal conflict is ginned up by MSM for ratings purposes. Trust me, they are lock-step, hive-mind. It's their M.O.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Republicans haven't had nearly as much party discipline as Democrats in the past decade

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I honestly think Republicans weren't expecting both houses and the presidency and didn't bother working on a healthcare bill til this year

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/2 Please keep in mind - Betsy DeVos had a lot of opposition, and she just barely squeaked through. A lot of Republicans bitch up a storm

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

2/2 and then vote with Trump anyways. We call these people "Liars", and they need to be kicked out of office just as much as the bootlickers

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Yes, she was extremely not qualified for the job. But she still made it, didn't she, no matter what the opposition? Get used to it.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

1/2 She *barely* made it, and only because they pushed back Sessions conformation. These are winnable battles individually. We won't win

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

2/2 them all, but we can win some of them, if we're willing to be absolutely tireless for the next four years.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

My tinfoil hat worry is they put out the worst possibility so they can then rollout a still shitty, but not as bad plan and get support .

9 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 2

I heard a better one-- trump endorsing AHCA then pulling support to screw over Ryan.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They clearly weren't prepared for this. The ACA was ~15 years in planning. This bill is frantic scribbling since November

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahh, the good ol' "door in the face" strategy. Make an impossible to take plan, then offer an only somewhat ass destroying one for them.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

people can hate on Obamacare as much as they want but it does help out a ton of people. I feel like Trump wants to get rid of it solely 1/

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh I agree. My statement was assuming OP was right that the next plan will be "better" but still hot trash for most of the populace

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also I'm Canadian so I have no horse in this race besides being able to shake my head for you folk down there.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

because he just wants to reverse everything Obama did out of spite at this point

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I wonder if anyone has addressed why a hospital is allowed to charge $9 for a single dose of tylenol...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That won't be addressed until we get a single payer or single negotiator system.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The claim is cause they were covering the costs of treating people without insurance (as mandated by law.) So pass the cost onto others.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Still doesn't explain why US healthcare costs is >2x of the rest of the civilized world .. with worse results.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(And that's as share of GDP, which is high per capita in the US)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like I said, it was just a claim, one I don't believe.
