I've taught Spanish for 27 years. People tell me that I use my hands a lot when I speak. It's because I pantomime almost every single day at work.
My dad often commented on how good Vietnamese "stew" was. He was there as an invader, but he never expressed hatred for the Vietnamese, only the war and the things he was ordered to do (he was a naval minesman). He died before pho got popular in the USA.
Saw that today in Greensboro, NC. I thought, "Shit, I can just go outside!"
I prefer to only ride things that have brakes.

I'm a part-time spec home builder. One of the constraints I have is infrastructure. The county has all of these rules about curb, sidewalks, run-off ponds, and so on. Unless you are also a real estate broker, you'll never recoup those costs, so I look exclusively for lots along extant paved roads, as they don't have the same restrictions.
I live in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. There's one company that owns at least 50 different properties, each it's own LLC.
