There is no ferry to most islands, and no bridges either. But there are off-grid cabins on some islands, and they are only accessible by boat. So they bring a trailer, under a boat, to the island so that while they are there they can pull it out onto dry land. It's a second trailer, so they can go back and forth by boat and have a trailer on each end.
Not a joke. They mount a winch to a tree, or to the back of a boat garage, and they pull the boat out on it's trailer onto the island for storage while they are there. Otherwise, it sits beached or anchored during their stay, that's hard on a small boat.
Greatest frontman ever. And an exceptional singer/songwriter. There will never be another.
