thats lame as he'll. my friend has a 2017 (?) Model 3 and the manuals release is inside the bottom part of the inside door handle. I know cause I pulled it one time cause I thought thats how you got out and the car sounded an alarm. but I was able to find it _by accident_ it sounds stupid if they made them hard to find on newer years or other models. :(
