Wrong. Police are there to protect the interests of the state. Do you think it’s cost effective to investigate a bank robbery? Absolutely fucking not. It’s to send the message that anything that will disrupt socioeconomic norms will not be tolerated. It’s why all the authoritarians are trying to erode 1a.
I had a cat like that. She would yell and growl at everyone including me but I was the only one she let pick her up like that. She was the sweetest. She would also eff you up for touching her, except for me.

My dad laid his motorcycle down real slow. Minor accident. Rode it home 60 miles. Mom made him go to the hospital. No internal bleeding but they found and am aortic aneurysm that they were then able to repair.

Say you owe 200k and the bank foreclosed, then sells the property for 500k. They will give you 300k back. The same goes in the opposite direction. If you owe 200k and win your own foreclosure auction for like 10k, you still owe the bank 190k on the original loan.

I was at the orthodontist. The tech had “vast tracks of land” which were resting on my head and I was fighting a boner. 9/11 makes me feel weird.
7.5k/mo (if it’s adjusted regularly for inflation) would be the equivalent of getting 2.25m lump sum or, if it’s not ever adjusted upwards, about 1.285m. That’s a pretty crazy amount of wealth for most people. That’s life changing money for most people…
