What would have been the outcome if on the day Biden was sworn in, he had spoken out seriously against trump, but then offered him clemency (I.e. plea guilty for zero punishment) simply to move the debate forwards.It would have been hard for him not to take it - and that would almost certainly exclude from office. America really needs to work on toning down the hatred, and I believe there is a long history of pardoning anything shitty by prior administrations.

You built your systems to prevent third party's which naturally leads to us vs them. You indoctrinate your kids on how good the country is so nobody has a desire to change. In most other countries, both the republican and democratic parties would have failed

Yes it means ditching the philibuster (which by the way has been wildly successful in almost every first world country, bar spain (legal, last use 1963), uk (in the lords only and its only a stall tactic, used about once a year) and usa, used 8 times this week. But it could be forced through between an election and swearing in.
