Look, I get the point but there are still journalists with integrity. Sure, they could stand up, make a scene and then never have access again but what would be the point? It would be a story for a day and they would never have the ability to get the inside scoop from the idiots in this administration that just want to show how much they know. They are playing the long game and they are smart for doing so.

As someone who has worked in restaurant dining rooms for 30 years and watched restaurants move away from carpeting, the downside is that those rooms get very loud without the carpet to muffle the sound. Having a "quiet" dinner is no longer a possibility. Those carpets were gross though.

Yeah, you are both right. This is terrible for everyone. It's the orphan crushing machine. People that are desperate to make a buck any way they can because the cost of living is so high and people that can't afford to pay a professional for necessary work, because the cost of living is too high. This doesn't exist in a healthy economy.
This made me want to look up who first supported Trump. Jeff Sessions, Chris Collins, Sarah Palin, and Billy Baldwin all can be blamed for the tipping point of the MAGA movement.

Something I always like to remind people is that you are not obligated to respond to a stranger talking to you in public. Like, you can just pretend not to hear them and go on with your day without giving them anything, all the way up until they put hands on you, then they are going to jail.

He's incredibly stupid but I think most people are missing what is really happening with this. He was trying to come up with a "clever" slur against Democrats but his base was too stupid to understand why the B was in there so he was market testing which version to use. I'm not saying he knew either but this is less about his stupidity and more about how he literally has to dumb things down in order for his base to grasp any concept.
The answer I hear for any evidence is "well the courts are corrupt and have TDS". It's like arguing with a religious zealot about the existence of God. Facts and evidence will never Trump their faith.
