Trans people have been dealing with active discrimination in every field long enough that the vast majority of us do not have the resources to pick up our lives and start new somewhere else. If I had the resources to do it, I still wouldn't because I would just be using to to get other people out of their shit situations. Every last one of us is watching the world in horror while we are told that we need to just pick ourselves up and go somewhere else.
