Just FYI, on her last name White-Cain; White is the surname of her previous husband, and Cain is the surname of her current husband. I've never ever before heard of anyone hyphenating the surnames of multiple spouses they've had in their current name.

Before the 2020 primaries I'd never heard of Tom Steyer. I still don't know a whole lot about him, but with the little I've read and heard and seen of him he seems like he's a genuine progressive and probably the most progressive super rich guy I've ever heard of.
I imagine this as a slightly different version of Matt Berry's vampire character from What We Do in the Shadows (the TV series).
It was reckless of the driver of the car to cross the double yellow, but what the biker did was maliciously dangerous. That's a jail + huge fine + lengthy loss of driver's licence level of stupidity for the biker in my book.

The Dutch are like 2 inches taller than the rest of us, and are therefore closer, so it does make sense.

He competed for Norway until 2023, when he initially retired from professional alpine skiing because of a dispute with the Norwegian Skiing Federation about a private commercial deal (he modeled for a clothing brand and NSF are super strict about private commercial deals). After exploring the possibility of competing for Brazil instead, he made a comeback in 2024 and now competes for Brazil.
