I woke up four times last night stressed out thinking I had fallen asleep cuddling my newborn, just to realize I was cuddling my dog. I love cuddling my dog, but he usually sleeps at my feet, and I would have preffered sleep at the moment 😅
I love voting by mail, but we need a better system for verifying that people still live at their addresses. Somehow ballots keep being sent to my husband at the address he lived at 5 years ago in another state. He gets ballots to our place as well. I don't understand why the state's systems don't talk to each other. He shouldn't be getting ballots in two states.
Cabins with AC here in Utah go for around $150/night sadly. I'm missing camping, but can't handle sleeping on the ground or the heat while pregnant. I wish there was a cabin that was $50/night.
The Goonies
This mug speaks to me. ADHD plus pregnancy brain at the moment.
I wasn't allowed to watch Arthur or Sponge Bob cause of the bad behavior shown. Honestly I'm happy about that, my siblings and I were all really well behaved. I grew up on Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry.
You in Utah too? They just banned them here. The wildfires lately have been so bad.
I grew up in a military town, flags were everywhere, including on my own house.
Just move the pillows and sit normally?
It may be easier for you to take a shuttle, for me the car is way easier. Everyone's experience with pregnancy is different. I do agree that they need way more shuttles, but it shouldn't be the only option. Even when Im not pregnant I get very anxious in crowds and have asthma attacks from perfumes/cologne(I'm allergic) and am immune compromised. I've already had to move seats on airplanes due to people's perfumes, forcing people to take public transportation doesn't make sense to me.
I've been sober 8 months and this video definitely made me want to drink a whiskey and Coke....that being said I'm just pregnant and don't have a drinking problem. Good for you for staying sober for a whole year!
I'm in my late 20s and my MIL steamrolls over my and my husband's plans all the time. She's extremely critical of everything and will argue for hours until my husband gives in to whatever her demand is (recent drama was she disapproved of us buying a used crib). I have friends with really difficult in-laws too. It's not just the boomers.
You should try dark chocolate with espresso beans in it. It's amazing.
I had a roomate in college ask me to show her how to make pasta from a box.
We use it for our rose bushes.
I have a car with adaptive cruise control for the first time in my life and I'm never going back. The seat heaters and Bluetooth speaker also get used extremely often. I actually like the extra features.
I don't have a disability placard, but as a pregnant woman it made a HUGE difference being dropped off instead of having to take the shuttle. Another time, at LAX, we had to get on a cram packed full shuttle to get to the Uber area and I had a small anxiety attack. It was a truly miserable experience. I don't understand why you hate people getting dropped off/picked up so much.
Please put a warning on these videos....I'm too pregnant to be seeing puke right now 🤢
I'm 27
Yep
I went into this pregnancy accepting that I'd hit my out-of-pocket this year on a hugh deductible plan.
I had some extra detours and twists and turns, but I'm pretty much living the life I expected to when I was in highschool at this point. Is that rare?
I literally know a girl who is using it as brith control though. She's 27 and already has had 3 abortions. She doesn't like the side effects of birth control and thinks condoms "ruin sex".
I doubt people could get away with this here in Utah. They all use the automated gates and the lifties are on the lookout reading the profiles of the pass members making sure they match the owner of the pass. One of my friends got caught once and they had to pay for a day pass to be allowed to leave AND they and the pass owner got blacklisted from the resort for the rest of the season.
I would bring my parents coffee in bed and clean the kitchen to avoid lectures about not sleeping (I had bad insomnia in middle school).
I'm currently pregnant and apparently pregnancy has made my adhd and anxiety go crazy. I'm having so many extreme mood swings and crying fits. I hate this so much. It feels like im pmsing everyday, but worse.
We've got one person already out on long term disability on our 6 person team and Im going out on 20 weeks of maternity leave in a couple of months. My boss has been trying to get approval to get someone to fill in while I'm gone for the last two months and keeps getting stonewalled. It takes a couple months to hire anyone at my company after the approval to hire goes through. Sometimes middle management is screwed over by hr/upper management.
I had a colectomy in 2018...I will never be free from the risk of sharts.
I used to live in the woods on a dirt road. A random dog just came up onto my porch, drank from my dog's water bowl and laid down to sunbathe. He was super sweet and didn't have a care in the world. Thankfully he had a tag and it turned out he belonged to people who lived 2 miles away. I guess he tired himself out and figured my porch looked comfortable.
