The cylinder must not be harmed
Sure… but 1975 was a height for queer performers. Disco, studio 54, and several queer representations in media. Sentiment toward queer people was shifting pretty dramatically, and taking a role in a film was not exactly some courageous act, as much as it was a man making queerness visible and more palpable. It’s a good thing and he should be celebrated, but it’s not like life for us queer people was such hell that Tim Curry is the hero who made us visible.
1975 wasn’t exactly unsafe… It was actually the perfect time to play a transvestite
Kind of… but this isn’t seen in the apps managed by the restaurant. This is a big problem when using uber and instacart. But restaurants created apps themselves more as a loyalty rewards lrogram like kroger. Its really hard for them to do individual pricing because you can see the price on the menu board. Apps that steer people to delivery and away from the restaurant are likely the ones with more nefarious intent.
People always attribute this to something terrible… But apps by the company itself is no more than a loyalty program. It’s the same as Kroger points (ever wonder why you need to enter your number to get a discount?).The biggest culprits are the uber and instacart. But in their case you’re paying extra and likely being up charged when labeled as a data point that is willing to spend full price.
Well the wealth gap in the US is wider. The wealth gap in France is wide… but the citizens make damn well sure the wealth gap is never as big as it was then.
Honey is to humans what virgins are to the old gods.
Is the man short or are cows really that tall????
So reality check. You’re still a baddie. The nicest reality check I’ve had all year
Is that link on the right?
That’s not a lot… that’s like a fiscal quarter.
Boba tea for $600????
Rand Paul was board certified… he let it lapse for a dumb reason, but he was still certified
Y’all know this is satire, yeah?
I’m going to be honest… this is the thing that annoys me most. The moment Elon threw the rock and shattered the window, everyone should have pulled out. But for some reason they’ve just doubled down. And now that the truck is fully falling apart and they have to pay subscription fees just to drive it
Tbf this is the exact opposite of what Mr Burns did.
Do you think she spelled her own closed captions?
Oh yeah. I was going to say, I don’t think she said anything? Also… it took me 3 days to even hear what he said. I think this guys just upset he’s not getting attention from anyone
“My joke wasnt racist, I’ve said way more racist shit and that joke isn’t as bad.”
She’s ready to defeat the Huns
Welcome to project management!
Does she think Helen was in the Bible ?
I want a “shut up you ugly fuck” t-shirt
I was the kid who’d say “when are we ever going to use this” about math. Then in my 20s I went back to school learned math and almost weekly I go “ohhhhhh, this is when we are going to use that”
I definitely agree. Genocide felt like a step way too far. And I think they tried to wrestle with that, but it landed a little flat. I wish they would have dropped the virus plot earlier in the season.
They could have ignored the virus plot altogether and I would have been fine. But overall I thought it was a great season and good finale. Definitely not a stranger things type of thing.
Why did anyone buy a cyber truck after he threw a rock and shattered the window? And also… how can I also sell stupid people useless things?
These bastards watched Les Mis and were like, “yeah! We deserve to steal bread from the poor”
Wait… what??? That was the conclusion. I was about to be like, yeah, having a decent salary for congress is important, we see it in Texas where mostly businessmen or independently wealthy lawyers can run for state representatives because there is no salary. That’s why we should raise the wage, but we should also find ways to even out campaign funds like in WA. Then he was like “please let us insider trade” and what?!?!?!
