The Battery is not the Problem, it's completely capsulated and can survive several hours in 10-20ft deep water, on all EV. The Low power circuit are the problem like on every car, thats what the wade mode is for to putt this system under pressure. Don't know why Tesla need the mode, other car makers can do it without it. But hey. There is a video of someone restoring an EV (Renault Zoé) which got flooded in a Flash flood in the UK, got it cheap, only had to drain everything and clean the carpet

From the Inside every door has the mechanical lever as default. Ford realised they had to have the mechanical mechanism from the inside, so they made it proper and safed on the electrical button on the inside.

I wanted to get electric ever since the first Tesla, and this is the first Time I've bought a car since then. Pretty happy with it, and since it's unpopular in the USA, we bought it over $20,000 off asking price. Unintended side effect is I'm now famous even in my 1M+ city bc I'm the only one with this model+color. So I better never drive like an asshole!!

There was one parked in my apartment complex lot for a while and just looking at it made me angry. This was right after all those clips came out of Elon and his kid talking about how they won the election for Trump. Funniest thing is the young guy who had the car got evicted for not paying his rent. It makes ‘maga sense’ to buy a car so expensive that he couldn’t also afford an apartment in the hood. These apartments are some of the cheapest in town.
