I am a potato.

I think they're using 'belief' in the religion/spirituality context like one would use 'theory' in the scientific context, but since that's not strictly defined it muddies that water the boat/lack of boat sits in.

Seagal made a name for himself as a large man in aikido, an art made to equalize smaller fighters defending against larger people. As a large guy in aikido, I can speak to the fact that it's a different practice than what comes naturally. I'd be more impressed with his work if he didn't power through everything and instead moved with attacks to place people gently on the ground.

Even the Incans had a survival rate for trepanning of only a little over 80% according to the Smithsonian's 160 studied skulls. I'd think that's probably as good as it gets for major surgery pre modern antibiotics, and 20% chance for death to get a sleight supposed archery advantage isn't worth it.

Hell, diet and fitness changes your sexuality.

Eh, what makes more sense to me is that the whole thing is fake and Israel is 'sharing intelligence' to keep Trump on the offensive.

If you're living through late stage capitalism and not weinermaxxing, what are you even doing?!

And the third one was rushed as hell. Still great, still watch it, just... expect to be shaking your fist at them.

"That'll be bought by a company that will break promises to the creator, then shelved but prevented from being produced since they hold the copyright because of some perceived market competition with some other product."

I spent a load on one of those mobility tubs so I can actually soak! I don't care if it's supposed to be for the elderly, I can get my knees and shoulders underwater at once!

Sure! I'm not saying you CAN'T, but it's SAFER. It's nice to reliably have a hand to strike a few times!

Considering it's AI... yeah, the data center.

I have issues instructing untrained people to punch nazis...

Palm strikes are much safer for people to throw when inexperienced.

That's just corruption. Communist, capitalist, nobility, it all gets worse when we leave it unbridled.

They're literally there to protect the perceived value of capital. Might be a miss on the comparison.

Sure, pure individualism it is. Hope you're stocked up! No 911, no ER, no roads the ambulance drives on, no firefighters, none of that collectivist nonsense. Break a leg out there on your own. Literally. Let me know how 'every man for himself' works out around hour three of having an extra bone in your leg.

Oligarchism can come from many paths, capitalism just spells concentration of wealth out as a goal.

I need stimulants to function in this artificial work hour construct people enforce as 'normal' instead of working in fits and starts in-between chasing puzzles and learning that help me be stronger mentally. I get more done, learn more, and am in better mental health if people let me work at my own pace and schedule with clear deadlines... but I still like coffee, maybe just a pot or three fewer.

If you find the right plan, manage your debt carefully and live responsibly for a few decades after, you too can have an avocado toast.

Conservative gender roles from the 1950s, specifically. Not before that. It's a very specific and nontraditional tradition they're targeting, not the one where we had everyone contributing to home crafts and a community collective that shared resources.

I like the Tub Ring cover of it, been on my go-to playlist for years!

I dislike the idea at its core, not because of the waste and pollution (though those suck as well), but because I want to buy the same pair of pants that I know fits my fat ass in three years! Do you know how hard it is to get clothes for a 420lb body that doesn't skip leg day? For some reason they all make waistline-leg ratios for fucking Eggman!

The alternative is bankrupting the entire market so you can have less than you would otherwise.

Better woke than broke.
