Went and looked, I just realized would mean Deep rock galactic also disappears, get set back to sixth gen pokemon, Monster Hunter generations, 1.8 Minecraft, D&D 5e had just dropped (and missing so much content), and worst of all... production had already started for "Independence Day: Resurgence", Warcraft movie was preparing for release the following year, AND disney was already committed to their new star wars trilogy
Was meaning in relation to video games mostly, because erasing an entire decade of games would actually narrow my library significantly, to say nothing of how Factorio wouldn't even appear in early access for another year, and Rimworld would be Alpha 16 IIRC
Would there be any guarantee some of the media I liked would reappear? or is that all going to disappear as well? Then again I suppose the memories might also disappear, in which case suddenly I'll of lost some media I like that I won't even know I lost!
Aye, definitely no fault of the children, it's simply the sad truth that cuts to the heart. Certainly doesn't help when the kids start thinking those are the days they can get away with more, though, that's just them acting out because they picked up on the fact something is 'off'.
Nothing as brutal as being involved with school system and some little kid, honest as can be, blatantly asks you "Why do you look sad?"... makes the whole day a lot harder because you still gotta do your job for the day, but now you know the kids see the cracks.
Am immediately reminded of a history video about bakers during the industrial revolution and that exact issue, them occasionally cutting the flour to try and shave costs, while not knowing if the mill had ALSO done the same before handing it over... unfortunately can't remember name of video to look it up again.
They did try dancing around rules with some of their adblocker checks before and got in trouble because, IIRC, it ended up being considered a breach of privacy. Think that's part of what delayed a bit of the anti-ad-blocker stuff. Seriously... I hate how the Internet's been ground down... Where's the era of 5$ runescape subscriptions, yahoo answer memes, and geocities information archives.
Main catch I see is if they start blocking browsers based on the agent, they might land in trouble for market manipulation/control, because youtube is such a major content platform to try gating access to.
Meanwhile I look at my pile of boardgames... some still wrapped because of lack of in-person people to play with.
I'll admit to telling a kid on the bus: Keep art a Hobby/side-gig, not a full job. Mostly because of those I know that did try to become full-time artists either got burned out by the workload, or struggled to make ends meet. Conversely the one that did do well kept art as a side-thing until they were doing well enough to make it a full thing.
can agree, ac compressor just gave out at house... could do with a freezer I can climb into right about now.
Elementary kids on my bus learned to identify it as a rolling dumpster. There's one that picks up from the Pre-k/special needs loop at said elementary school.
My first dog was a Lab/Dalmatian mix. Incredibly smart, could open the back door and fence gates unless they were properly locked. Was hilarious how I got him. My mum told me I could get a dog if someone came into our yard and offered me one, a normally impossible task! Cue a few hours later a neighbor came over asking if I wanted a puppy. My mum was fit to be tied at how that happened, decided to get the runt of litter... Grew to be the biggest, and longest lived of the litter.

the 1TB is about 250$ IIRC, but yeah, I actually had to do an exchange for a 4TB one I got because it worked for a whole *week* before just dying abruptly.
The 40/39ft Intercontinental/Thomas school bus around here have 24 seats, 2 a seat for High School, so 48+1 driver. You'd need 3 to comfortably fit, given there's also other staff aboard the airship.
know a lad who's been suffering because they were just gearing up to finally replace their over a decade old rig, and then prices exploded so much anything they can afford would technically be a side-grade... cue their disappointment because their i7 3770K is showing it's age

am pretty sure the way things were growing up is why have issues with any time an adult raises voice, even if its not directed at me. can deal with a bus full of screaming kids without an issue. single adult raising voice near me, even worse at me, is enough to give rise to anxiety/panic.
Price point of the steambox also isn't entirely valve's fault, they REALLY got screwed by the RAM prices right now, to tune that most of the unit's price probably is the RAM, and IIRC are adding voice to a lawsuit against the RAM companies for refusal to properly negotiate in perspective to potential price fixing.
Everything is flammable if you try hard enough... On unrelated news I've only had the fire department called on me twice! (had permits both times though)
Far as I understand, they also are on a full wartime economy and kind of hinging on being able to exploit ukranian resources to be able to stabilize again, or at least drag ukraine down with them.

#6 actually prefer more d4 compared to other dice, little bit less randomization. PF1E I had houseruled for HP as '1d4+HD Mod' (d6=2, d8=4, d10=6, d12=8), guaranteed you would always get at least half HD, but still allowed rolling for randomization... Because rolling a 1 on your HD on level up was painful for already low HP characters (So says the 9HP lvl3 wizard)
The worst is when the captcha get's stuck in an endless loop of verification failed, only way I get around when that happens is to either switch to VPN or come back in an hour or so, because it ignores page refresh, cache clear, and even browser restart.
Still remember the time when watched a starburst round go up a whole... four feet before abruptly exploding. Amazingly no one got hurt, and no fires started, but that was definitely an experience to stand inside the starburst explosion
I remember asking that of the elementry kids... That was a mistake, the entire 30 min ride to school they were arguing with each other over it.
Have Starlancer TAC, unfortunately only have a single friend I can readily schedule to play with... far from enough to run the Starlancer TAC, so we're generally in a scorpius when I want to turret gun.
