It's... not great.
No actually, a playful headline like that is not racist at all.. yes I am unfortunately American as you summised, but fwiw I have spent a decade and a half off and on in Japan and my partner is Japanese so I would like to think I have an educated input source on a solid cultural understanding. But feel free to spout your manufactured outrage tourism and virtue signalling.. it's a free internet.
*facepalm* I have so much to unpack with this post but I'm just gonna leave it here with "no one in any serious way calls it "mekanikaru"... in english OR japanese"
Based on that art... im pretty sure someone was gonna end up face down...
it's VERY cool! https://defcon.org

love it!
Honest they HAVE been reigned in. The thing is, 75% of whats in them never holds up in most courts, they just hope people aren't smart enough to realize over half of it is severable from the agreement because nothing does, or ever can, prohibit people tossing whatever they want into a contractual agreement until a legal test strips parts back out.
I think that was the point. A camera anchored to the truck is going to only show movement out the window on the horizon, having it anchored to the driver means you see/feel what the driver felt.
while i generally agree with you... I would be totally prepared to see both, LOL... dudes got irresistible swag. :p
it varies but it is all over where I am. Every single pier in SoCal has signs saying "line fishing only, use of nets prohibited by law"
Everyone BUT the driver, who claimed zero responsibility. Everyone else had to go hospitals, broken bones, septic shock, emergency flights back to home countries.. mean while she was fine and thinks she has to fault in it?!?!Source https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17990294105822752/
Buddhist temple tourist spot in SE asia actually, from the IG post
First girl fell out, broke her arm. Second girl dove out for no known reason, unharmed. Girl in the back bruises, cuts, and torn tendons. Guy had to go to the hospital, got septic shock from infection. All 3 had thousands in medical bills and emergency flights home. Driver accepts 0 responsibility, sees no fault in result of diving out, refuses to pay any expenses. Source: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17990294105822752/
TLDR - First girl fell out, broke her arm. Second girl dove after her, totally fine, no harm. Girl in the back bruises, cuts, and torn tendons. Guy had to go to the hospital, got septic shock from hospital infection, in for weeks. All three had thousands in medical bills, driver accepts zero responsibility saying first girl should have held on better, sees no fault in result of diving out, refuses to pay any medical expenses or contribute to the $200 they had to pay to the cart rental company.
Hunted down the source, girl int he back actually posted about what happened: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17990294105822752/
Holy shit did the driver really just tuck and roll out after the girl who fell and left the ones in back to fend for themselves? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS
Correct, they passed a law when he became Gov that contradicts state constitution, and is technically not allowed but the only person to hold themselves accountable is.. themselves...
Yeah they sleep for ~30 min at a time I think, and autonomously will bob to the surface to get fresh air as needed
You're thinking of Abe Vigoda. Pretty sure he was born looking old, lol
Most Europeans. Seriously... most of them get an average combined 30 days of paid vacation a year. They have enough time and money to do a full week here for World Cup and still have 3 more weeks of vacation throughout the year.
Easy.. one of the them didn't r**e children.
Okay? I mean I don't get why you downvoted me. You said we should prohibit building there and I essentially said we thankfully do now... like, angry about this topic much or something?
We generally do. Most of these houses are 50 to 100 years old before common sense took over.
As an uncle to twins, 100% this! My sister and I had this "really cool eccentric, well off uncle (actually my dads cousin) who lived in LA and gave us crazy cool gifts and took us on adventures far beyond the realms of what our small town Indiana childhoods could naturally provide." and now, for my sisters Twin sons, I am ironically that same eccentric cool uncle from LA who swoops into town 3-4 times a year and turns their world upside down (in a mildly parentally sanctioned way, lol)
Yup, dog software running on lizard hardware
Exact laws and interpretations vary by state and county, but generally in most US jurisdictions, it is considered shoplifting and/or theft if you make an effort to leave the store with the item without paying, even if you do not actually leave the store. Things like concealing the item within your clothing or personal belonging, or making a "visible effort" to leave the store in possession of an item are on that list. I would say she clearly ticked the box of the later.
Don't do this. The care instructions for you car explicitly state not to do anything like this.. a damp cloth with a tiny hint of dishwashing detergent to wipe it down at most is what they call for. Doing this is going to cause you a host of problems down the road. (pun not intended!)
You can ALWAYS find a buyer for FMV of a black lotus. Always..... Always.
