Iirc, the comics have explained several times that Gotham City literally cannot be cured or fixed. Its cursed, haunted, damned, and has all sorts of bad shit working against it. Aliens, ancient ruins, Lazarus Pits, Hell, and everything else works to make sure you cannot fix Gotham. Hence why Batman has to keep working, despite all Bruce does

Its like a mathematician figuring an equation, or a writer painting a scene with their words. But that kind of work is NOT what the vast majority of AI "artists" are doing.Using Sora or Grok to make a funny video isn't art. But I can somewhat respect the people tbat really learn something like Comfy.

So, I have a Ranger Ratfolk who is a Sailor, and "his" place is a small port on the western edge that his captain always returned to after longer voyages. Very few traditional races, filled more with stuff like Leshys, Ratfolk, and even a few of the spider shape shifters. Tight knit community, where who you are is what matters most. Not what you are.
Working on my pathfinder campaign's world has done wonders to reignite that old love of stories. Describing the cities and cultures, and then I start to imagine the lives of different people in there. Short stories in their daily lives, and now I know more about how I want the small village of Winterhart to feel.
It doesn't work that way. Adding a medication into your food, when you know it's being stolen, is considered setting a trap, and illegal. You can, and will, be punished for poisoning the thief.The only version of these "trap" lunches that would be plausible deniable would be spice, and that is hard to prove it's your preference when you start bringing it after already dealing with food theft.
What you experienced is not what everyone experienced. My town is on the smaller side, and leans heavily red. Education here is "listen to your pastor", and stepping out of line is the fastest way to get your ass beat.You had good schooling. I was lucky to live with my grandparents in Cali for my school years. My cousins and friends weren't, and now I have to cut ties with my entire childhood because of their schooling.
