I personally believe that calling yourself Christian is all it takes. Like there are groups that don't believe Jesus has any divinity at all, yet claim Christianity. I don't even think Religion is the problem. It's the concept of "mine is the right one and all others are false" which is the problem. First off, the audacity is just ridiculous. Second off, it helps them justify ANYTHING to get others to follow it - because if it's right, you're doing them a favor even if you hold them down and force it. Anytime anyone can justify any action being legitimately forced on another, we have serious problems. Finally, it vilifies other 'false' religions.
TB isn't even the worst offender. McDonald's made their name known with cheap but tasty food. Now it's like $6 for a kids meal that has a garbage toy and adult meals are like $12+ dollars. It's cheaper to go to a dine-in now and much nicer.

Here's the thing that gets missed in this discussion: it's religions DUTY to try and spread its influence. If they know a way to help you to avoid eternal pain or negative outcomes in the afterlife, it is their duty to push that path forward. However, believing their way is the only path is where it gets dangerous. It encourages control, violence, oppression, etc. But if you had some truth about the universe that would help others avoid pain, it is right to teach that truth.
