I watched an IGN video on the remaster earlier and while they will default to a more modern layout, there will be d-pad legacy controls
Although I have no idea of what's going on, it's clear that they only have an appeal process so they can tell people to pay to get back in.
They did it under the pretence of it damaging the company's image but their response has done more to ruin the public opinion of them
