The story is not intentionally designed to mislead a casual viewer. It clearly states "Trans boy." Meaning a Biological Female that is transitioning to a boy. It's only has the effect you're implying if you get confused on that point. It makes literally no sense the way you're implying it happened. Why would Texas engineer a situation where the someone competing with their assigned-at-birth gender produced a massive disparity? It makes a point completely opposing what they're pushing.

It amazes me how some expensive, outdated hobbies on Imgur get constantly praised (Blacksmithing springs to mind, but also woodworking, miniatures, model building, etc.) but for anything that Imgur associates with "Rich people bad" gets shit on as a useless waste of money. I'm a blue collar mechanic. I also have a half dozen mechanical watches. Why? Because I think mechanical watches and other things that operate off of gears, springs and ingenuity instead of computer chips are fucking cool.
There are way more hobbyists that enjoy watches than just "Rich idiots" but I'm assuming your knowledge of watches spans the Casio section at Walmart and the gaudy diamond encrusted bling on a rap video. There's literally no difference between somebody appreciating a watch movement and spending $600 on it, versus someone buying $600 worth of warhammer plastic or commissioning a $600 piece of art. People are allowed to spend money on things that bring them joy.
I don’t make my decisions based on some magical past version of myself. Past me doesn’t exist anymore because i got rid of him, purposefully and intentionally. To play devils advocate: You cannot be compelled to give up your blood or organs. But once you have given them, you can't take them back from the person that is now using them to survive. If you encounter someone in medical distress, you are not obliged to aid. But if you start CPR, you are compelled to continue except in certain circumstances. We have a lot of precedent for certain voluntary actions requiring follow through. Not a pro-life argument, but an argument for consistent arguments.

If the intention was to institute "Masculinity requirements" or to banish women or LGB individuals, they wouldn't be instituting it only for older males. Legitimate question: do you have problems with them doing blood panels or dental examinations as universal checks? A hormone panel is a good policy for anyone, soldier or not, as part of routine health screenings. Especially for soldiers, because symptoms like “constantly tired” “irritable” or “poor sleep quality” are kind hard to pin down when “constantly tired” “irritable” and “poor sleep quality” are basically bullet points in the job description.

Yeah, Carmax is consistently among the better payers for buying your car. My usual recommendation is is to go online and get a sales quote from Carmax/Carvana and take THAT with you to dealerships. Dealerships will often buy your car at the carmax price or higher, because they know they can flip it to Carmax themselves and get their money back. They don't make money, but offering to buy it themselves means they've got a better shot of selling you THEIR car, and they don't lose much.
Yeah, the "Auto group" label immediately says "Don't fucking buy from these people" to me. They'll bounce you between 5 of what you think are independent dealerships and give you a similar screw-you deal at each one. Also, Carmax. Never buy from them, always sell to them. They not only wouldn't budge an inch on the price, but I had run our Trade-in's VIN through THEIR WEBSITE and gotten a trade in quote. When I got there the guy acted like I was insane for expecting a $14k trade in for a Kia, and arrogantly asked where I would get a figure like that. I just smiled and told him "Your website" and handed him the printout before I walked out.
