The military might actually be the one place where it's reasonable for men to regularly be on trt... in the short term. Given how hard it is on your body taking test supplements would probably do wonders for being able to meet the physical demands and mitigate injuries accrued over the course of years. Long term it'll probably just end up fucking up their bodies even moreso, to say nothing of the psychological effects

....the funny thing is, the military already has annual health assessments (was a medic, fuck knows I've dealt with it enough lol). Screening for low T wasn't routine (unless indicated by age or symptoms) but also if you asked any doc at literally anytime while ordering your labs - they'd just do, zero fuss. This announcement is basically saying "we are going to do what is already completely available" and totally just virtue signalling for their faux-masculinity idiocy.

If you look at the Russo-Ukrainian war the average age of the combatants on both sides is high thirties or forties, and demographics in the US aren't so different that it isn't an eventuality worth considering. No idea if either of them are pumping their troops full of tren, but I both can't imagine it's policy and do imagine steroid use is rampant in both forces.

Testosterone is the main steroid. There are other more niche compounds too, but basically every steroid cycle is built around taking 10x the amount of testosterone your body normally produces. And then drugs to deal with side effects of all that test lol. Now it has been a while since i was into that scene, so maybe it has changed some, if anybody cares to update me.

This is dangerously wrong information. You can’t just start and stop TRT. You’ve got to continue it for the rest of your life. It will fuck you up if you replace your natural T and then stop taking it. It does NOT just go back to normal baseline. And it’s also fuckin expensive. That’s why it’s usually reserved for old rich guys or athletes that don’t have to worry about running out of it.
