OP, what's the process like for getting citizenship in Sweden and moving there?
I kinda stopped arguing with religious people, especially the extreme ones. They are immune to logic and facts, you have to be to remain religious with the amount of information that exists today. They will always be able to engage in the amount of mental acrobatics necessary to keep their beliefs, regardless of what you can prove or they can't.

I remember there being so many posts in the months/years leading up to now where people specifically just said that they were fans of his, even though he hadn't died yet. They just wanted to express appreciation without the appearance that it was just for internet points. Mr. Curry did just fine, and I think the internet has helped secure his legacy.

disturbing things I've seen is that people on those websites sometimes have some level of awareness of places outside of their echo chamber, but their opinion is that left-leaning sites have the same problem that I've mentioned about right-leaning ones. It feels as though there are so many overlapping fallacies at work in political discourse that I'm not sure we can all have a shared reality any more. And I know there are people who capitalize on this.
I've dabbled in visiting content aggregator websites like this one, but for right-leaning people. They straight up aren't seeing normal reality. They focus on entirely different things and follow narratives no one knows about outside of their bubble. They HAVE learned by now. Anyone who joins trump's administration knows that they are employed until the first thing happens that trump doesnt like and needs someone to blame. The MO for these people is: get in, grift what you can, get out quick when trump's ire wanders in your direction.

Millennials seem to have a generation spanning trauma from being told from the onset of our adulthood that we broke everything in society as soon as we were old enough to mess with it. One of my problems with people remodeling this way is that it makes heavy use of "open concept" designs for rooms. But they still want electricity everywhere. So they demo the walls that held the wires and boxes and expect me to pull additional dimensions out of my ass to rewire everything. Then they want a bunch of new shit, with no way of getting power to it without even more convoluted wiring. I've had a number of houses with regular switch boxes pulling double duty as junction boxes [1/2]
Republican voters would laugh their asses off at this. I don't think sane people realize how far gone right wing lunatics have to be to STILL follow trump at this point. You're not getting through to them. At all. Ever.

#3 Hey that's cool! That reminds me how every school or summer camp I went to as a child did literally nothing about us cooking in direct sunlight. Living at the same latitude as the Sahara definitely has an impact on this part of America. The main reason they'd dump us in a given area was b/c they couldn't be arsed to come up with something better to do. Coulda been crowd control too, kids stuck in a semi-permanent state of heat exhaustion stir up less trouble.
