My friend has a similar story when he was a kid. He's black/asian and was raised by his white uncle in Arizona. Back story, his father and uncle were friends in the Marine Corps and married Okinawan sisters.

a truck drove between the man and bison and the bison went after the truck but saw the guy and changed directions. I feel for the guy, of all the people he did nothing wrong, was just too close and in the wrong place at the wrong time.
