They started her off as an Inhuman (classic polymorphic powers), then made her an Inhuman-Mutant hybrid (polymorphic powers + hard light constructs, like in the MCU), and now apparently she's an Inhuman-Mutant-Krakoan hybrid (polymorphic powers + hard light constructs + vague portal powers). I think they mainly wanted to distance her from the Inhuman brand since it was a flop in the MCU and they were getting the film rights to the X-Men back. Synergy and whatnot.

I'd add a few qualifiers. 1) We have to allow for a spectrum of accuracy based on popular perception. Charlemagne wielding a Claymore sword in a biopic would bug nerds. Charlemagne employing Claymore explosives in a biopic cracks the suspension of disbelief apart. 2) Genre conventions develop and do affect enjoyment, even if they're inaccurate. The name Tiffany dates back to the 1200s, but feels like it belongs to the 19th and 20th centuries and might feel out of place in a Medieval fantasy.
