If the US didn't have enough munitions to lob sporadically into Iran it never had enough to deal with a "real" confrontation between it and China or Russia.
Looking at his cheeks I thought it was in his mouth...
Poor thing. I feel so bad for people that have zero self-esteem and no self-confidence.
Susie Derkins thought Hobbes was adorable when he wore a tie. Maybe he's trying to woo her with the scarf...
I love how kittens come pre-programmed to just know how to go sideways, puffy tail and head-down when approaching a "threat" or challenge. Momma cat doesn't need to teach them this, they just know. So cool.
Knows to stay out of the way.
Sometimes it's pretty suspicious. The Graham Platner accuser chose a very convenient time to come forward is one example. It's weird she didn't come forward earlier because "she didn’t want to be known as a rape victim" but seems okay now having 350-million people staring at her. I feel like there's a lot of opportunity to "weaponize" SA accusations as a means to achieve political or economic ends and because of the nature of the accusation there's little for any accused to do but bow out/pay.
The new Baywatch reboot is lit.
That seems like a good way to have the sudden urge to shit a mile down the road.
I feel like this needs an asterisk: 68% of the US GDP is consumer spending. In Q1 2026 consumer household debt reached $18.8-trillion, its highest value ever. The US GDP figure just seems to be a castle built in the air, seemingly one labour market disruption (e.g. AI), economic downturn or interest rate hike from collapsing in a huge way. The US and its citizens are not in a good place economically even though they like to pretend everything is fine.
Car makers cozying up to a fascist child molester. Fuck them. Speaking as a Canadian: I'll never buy another car or truck from a US manufacturer. In fact, I have taken to avoiding all US-manufactured goods whenever possible.
With this one it's never been intentional. She just gets scared and doesn't care who she runs over on the way to her hiding place.
I'm 59 and have had cats all my life. One of the two we have now genuinely scares me: She's quite large and muscular and is also really skittish and easily spooked. When she instinctively goes "fight or flight" she goes _all_ in. I've had some seriously deep punctures and gashes from her as she panics and tries to get away from what was a very peaceful situation after hearing a "thump" outside. Love her to bits but am very wary of her.
Right for the jugular.

I was kinda hoping he'd let the biRb go a little closer to shore.
FSM bless you for taking this little girl in. May you be touched by his noodly appendage, receive his warm marinara grace, and always stay al dente. R'amen.
She looks like she knows the Haka.
It's funny that many in the US, including the Democrats, think Canada and the rest of the world will welcome the US back into the fold when Trump is dead and gone. In fact, the US has shown the world, its former friends and allies and its enemies its true colours, its volatility, selfishness and its unpredictability. There is no going back from this.
That's a beautiful pic of you two. So sorry for your loss.
Those goofy hand gestures he does when dancing suggests he does know exactly what it's about...
This fucking Lurch/Uncle Fester mashup looks hilariously bad in a suit and tie.
They know they have no case. They're just trying to harass Smith and give him a legal rug-burn to appease Agent Orange. Smith strikes me as savvy enough to to make them regret it.
I feel like this is natural selection. While I feel for the innocent baby dying, the genes of parents this stupid and gullible should not be passed on.
Fur Elise.
