I find the "Its about authenticity for the roles being correct for the time and place" line, despite none of them ever having a problem before when obviously white actors played ethnic roles, to hilariously highlight why their take is particularly dumb, hyprocritical, and ultimately racist.

My BIL asked me if I wanted to see it with him and a friend this Sunday in IMAX. Usually I hate doing things, but since all the right-wing hysteria's been all over my feed I figured it was probably worth a watch and said I would go.
Its why Peter Thiel thinks saying things like Democracy and freedom are no longer compatible makes any fuck I no sense at all too.
I mean it absolutely should NOT be like that, but that is the unfortunate reality, especially for black and latino folks. As a white guy who has been very close, at least like 5 or 6 times, to being sent to prison for various felonies if the cop only decided to search me or my car, acting calm and defering to the cops authority/ playing to their ego kept me from having my life permanently altered, it feels kind of shitty when I've seen black and brown friends searched when obviously innocent.
Same people who were ejected from the theater for shouting racist remarks start shouting police brutality after they snatched their IDs back from the cops while detained and the cop took the IDs back. Something tells me that same lady had no sympathy for black citizens that were unjustly killed or latino citizens who were denied due process by ICE. "Just comply!" Right up until they get 1/100th of the same attitude from the cops.

I think it had more to do with guys like Musk and other tech bro-ligarchs having backdoors in the machines that do the end tallies and mail in voting making it much more difficult to do that without leaving big fingerprints behind, hence Trump's big push to demonize mail-in voting as some giant vector for fraud despite no evidence to suggest so.
Eh, the more I have lived the more I've found that spontaneous, but strong and seemingly disproportionate, emotional reactions from people due to the behavior of others, particularly behavior that has almost 0 effect on the actual life and well being of the person experiencing the strong reaction, can usually be traced to some form of projection stemming from their own repression of those qualities in their own lives.
From what I understand, there are some less than reputable segments of the internet that would find the barf parts to be the sexy pics.
Its also because they know that once people see how little of their total money it actuallt costs the people who have more than most people are actually capable of truly comprehending, and how much it helps society as a whole, their over-all power to control people's lives by artificially creating desperation and scarcity will also greatly diminish, and that is what they are actually the most afraid of happening.
This is great media with succinct summaries and messaging that fights within the algorithm by being funny and satirical enough to stop someone scrolling long enough to absorb the information. More of this is neccessary.
