Man. As an archaeologist who occasionally has to document older cemeteries, including disused historic cemeteries, smaller family plots and such, The amount of child graves I see. Nothing sobers you up more than walking into some rural cemetery that hasn't been on a map in the last 100 years and seeing almost a quarter of the headstones having little lambs on them.
It's even worse than you may think. It's not just a single monster company, it was multiple. The companies knew it was toxic, had them constantly re-pointing their brushes by mouth, tooth and tongue and lied to the women even when they started getting sick, even going as far as smearing them as promiscuous women who ended up with syphilis.
The younger guy with the beard is Gareth Reynolds, cohost of the history and comedy podcast "The Dollop", which I suggest everyone listen to starting with episode 101: The Death of George Washington (It's a short episode, but one of their best). He got nicknamed "Gary" early on, and while he hated it, he's leaned into it for humor.
