The problem is, I don't want to work until I'm 75. I don't even want to have to work until I'm 45. It's disgusting.

As a nurse that gets up at 430 to be at work and on it by 630, I check on my patients and as long as it isn't absolutely f*cked... I eat breakfast.

According to the ADA emotional support dogs are not service animals and do not have the same rights. Businesses and conveyances (bus, train, etc) absolutely can tell someone their emotional support animal is not allowed. And actual service animals can only be dogs or miniature horses.

It would also put massive strain on people who actually need the dogs. The training is already expensive, and as the gov't is wont to do they would charge (too much) for testing and registration of the animals.

My husband committed suicide 5 years ago. It is absolutely a process that can eat you alive, but it seems like you got off to as good a start as you could have after something like this happens.

My granny's bypass, that she needed for her heart to continue working (you know, so she could, I don't know, stay alive) was considered an "elective" surgery.

Let yourself grieve and let your children see you do it. My husband died when our youngest was five weeks. Take it a moment at a time if you have to. I had to make lists and write things down to remember all of the extra things: paying bills that he normally took care of and such. The beginning is so hard, but you can get through this. Hold those babies tight.
