It's very difficult to control the narrative completely. The ones who learn about slavery will be much more motivated to learn more as long as they're told it's forbidden knowledge. You just have to keep that spark alive and it undermines the lie.

Raw eggs are supposed to be good for their coat, but cats can be very picky. Chickens, on the other hand, will eat absolutely anything. Eggs? Definitely, egg-eating chickens are a problem. But they love grated cheese; pasta; any meat, including chicken; live mice; small rocks; the list goes on.
