Not entirely true. The IOC lets host countries pitch “optional” sports that are highly popular or culturally significant. France chose “breaking” sport climbing and surfing. The US will bring baseball softball and lacrosse in 2028. There are a host of other requirements for the sport to be included. That being said this was awful enough that it feels like it broke this sport forever. Imagine the gold medalist no one even knows them because this was such a joke.

Happened with my son as well. They placed him on my wife’s chest and he was so quiet. Nurses came in and grabbed him away, a minute later we heard the crying. Scariest silence of my life.

You would be surprised. Flight attendants make more than pilots for the first few years. Specifically at AC, not sure about other airlines.
Didn’t find it that bad. Repatriated from overseas, checked the website for AHS showing doctors taking patients. Book appointment. 3 weeks maybe?
Be prepared for culture shock. I know you’re going home but it will be there. I’ve just come home from 13 years overseas. Things and people will be different, not bad but different. It will take time to acclimatize. I’m 9 months and it’s been some super highs and very low lows. Conceptually we know life goes on and things change and some days I miss my expat life but when things are quiet I find I love it and appreciate it far more than before I left.

Lifespan of an A380 is 15 years or less. Last production was given to emirates. 2030’s or sooner for them to be done.
